Is HalloWishes as good as Wishes?

I've never seen either. I'm a little disappointed that the regular Wishes won't be shown during our trip. (Oct. 26-Oct. 31). Are HalloWishes as good? Can you give me more details on it? Thanks!

They are different. Both are good, but I much prefer Hallowishes.

I'm with Peg, I love HalloWishes. When I was there at the end of September 2005 they were testing HalloWishes a few of the nights towards the end of our trip and we absolutely LOVED it!!! This year I'm looking forward to seeing what they do for Christmas.

You will really enjoy Hollowishes- we enjoyed it more that Wishes, especially having the fireworks that seem to surround the park. We also watched them from Wilderness Lodge and they were awesome!!

Its really comparing apples and oranges. I cry like a little baby every single time I watch Wishes. Hallowishes, not so much, but I still loved it. Where as Wishes is very sentimental and sweet, Hallowishes is peppy and a lot of fun. I think you'll definitely enjoy it. Have fun!!

I prefer Hallowishes to Wishes, especially the scream-along segment. That part is lots of fun, especially watching people's reaction when they see it for the very first time.

It looks like Hallowishes will be shown every night until after Halloween. So, the folks who prefer Hallowishes will get there fill. No Wishes until after Halloween. The only difference is that on non-MNHSSP nights they will not show the 360 degree fireworks.

We love Wishes, but we love HalloWishes even more! I'm bummed that we didn't get to see it this year, as our trip was in September and we couldn't go to MNSSHP.

Yes, as was mentioned above, they are apples and oranges...but both the apples and oranges are GREAT.

Wishes is more moving. More emotional.

Hallo is more fun and light-hearted.

So they are different, but awesome in their own way.

I agree. If I had to choose one, it would be Wishes because it is so emotional and special.

But Hallo is still a really fun time. Although if I weren't local and made one trip a year, I'd be disappointed if it were Hallo I were seeing instead of Wishes.

Im a Wishes fan. I like Wishes over Happy Hallowishes. They are apples to oranges (as someone said) as Hallowishes is more overall "fun" while Wishes is more "emotional", which I like best.

In order here are my rankings:

1) Wishes - overall emotionally moving show.
2) Holiday Wishes (Christmas) - Great show with great spirit and is a happy show.
3) July 4 show - It's a good show with great patriotic music, just a bad bad finale.
4) Hallowishes - Great show, but, has little emotion and overall "Disney" feel. However, it is definately the most FUN show of them all.

I guess I'm different but I much prefer the Wishes. I love the music and get tearyeyed every time I see it.

Hallow wishes was fun but the next night we saw Wishes and it is definitely my fave.

Hallowishes all the way. But, that may be because we have seen Wishes so much (frequent visits ) For the poster that asked the time for Hallowishes, when we were there 2 weeks ago it was as 9:15.

I prefer regular Wishes much much much more than Hallowishes. Wishes will always have a special place in my heart and to this day, I prefer it to any other nightime show(even Fantasmic!!!) Mainly for the fairytale feel, the wonderful soundtrack and Tink flying over the castle. Nothing beats that.

Wishes is by far my favorite show. So I was a little scared that I wouldn't like HalloWishes, boy was I wrong. It is a different show, music and all but oh my was it fantastic! Our next trip back isn't until 2008 but we are planning on going around Halloween just so we can go to MNSSHP again! It was fantastic!
