I saw this in my Allears newsletter. I wonder if the Eagle PInes DVC will follow:
Bonnet Creek Golf Club's name has been changed to Disney's Eagle
Pines and Osprey Ridge Golf Club.

Previously, Disney's Bonnet Creek Golf Club had two courses, Eagle Pines and Osprey Ridge.
That was always a bit confusing, but it became much more confusing when an outside developer opened the Bonnet Creek Resort on non-Disney propert near Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. The Fairfield Orlando at Bonnet Creek Resort is the first of several lodging properties that will eventually be built within the Bonnet Creek Resort.
So, according to your Allears newsletter, Disney dropped the Bonnet Creek name. It's now Disney's Eagle Pines and Osprey Ridge Golf Club. There are still two courses, Eagle Pines and Osprey Ridge. And the club is simply named after those two courses.
I wouldn't read anything into that about the DVC resort that was announced for a site at the Eagle Pines golf course, but that was never built.
Disney Vacation Development (DVD) never announced a name for the DVC resort at the Eagle Pines golf course. Here on the boards, it's been called Eagle Pines or EP, but that's really only the site, not the resort name. If DVD dusts off the plans as SSR approaches sell-out, they'll come up with a more appropriate name for the resort inspired by the Florida resort architecture of Addison Mizner.
