Is Disney going to develop a river cruise line?

I heard rumors that Disney is gonna begin development on a river cruise line and I was wondering if anyone has heard about this? From what I heard the river cruise line is similar to the Viking River Cruises for adults but the Disney river cruise line will feature activities much like DCL aimed at families. If this new river cruise line goes well for Disney they might just be lucky to add another success to their travel section

I think the river boat experience would be to small and not profitable by Disney standards.
Modern ships hold 1000's ($$$$$) while river boats hold 100's. Not a good profit margins.

If I were to guess this is a misunderstanding of what they already do with Adventures by Disney. They're adding a new trip next year, apparently.
