I'm considering signing up for the disney club, but am wondering if membership includes park pass discounts .
Also i'd like to know the discount rate. Is it worth the money for a DVC member to sign up . Thanks Dan

P.S. taking the seven day cruise followed by a five day boardwalk stay in july

I have been a Disney Club member, but my membership had expired. I always use DC discount for my Annual Passes. I just signed up again today and took advantage of a discount promotion they are running for $10 off a yearly membership. Here is the link to the post on Theme Park Attractions & Strategies Board

My DH and I think that DC is worth it in addition to DVC. There are discounts that you get with DC that you don't get with DVC and vice versa. Passes are discounted (I think) 10% with DC and nothing with DVC. We use the DC to buy our APs.

It's worth it for us; for instance, I'll be in Nashville for three nights in February and the Entertainment component of the club knocks about $40/night off the rack rate at the Renaissance hotel downtown. That more than pays for my membership.

My wife just stepped out the door to go pick up pizza at our local Pizza Hut; we even get a discount there with the club card.

I just renewed my DC card yesterday and I was wondering if it would be worth it or not. Last year, with my membership, I was able to get a 2 bedroom villa at Hilton Head in December for a DC special rate of $115 per night (regular price was about $170) so I figure that 5 night stay alone more than paid for the card. DH has agreed to go back to Disney this year so I'll be using the DC discount for our park passes and again, I think the card will have paid for itself. I like having the card and being able to use it for discounts at our local Disney store - of course now that we own at Hilton Head I can use my DVC card for that discount!

I guess I'll wait and see how much the card saves us this year and decide if renewing is a good idea for our family next year because we won't be needing Disney park tix every year.

I keep mine for the pass discounts, car rental discounts, Disney Magazine. The AP discount is about $15 per pass. The National car rental discount is listed as 10% but they have been giving 20% plus a free weekend day (worth about $41 on my rental last month).

thanks i joined and already saved $25.00 on a one night stay . it already seems like a good move to join!!

I just joined too. I'll be getting Park Hopper passes, and the discount on those is 5%. After buying 4 five-day hoppers, the DC card will have more than paid for itself. I got the card for only $29.95, thanks to a discount code I saw on mousesavers.com.

Hoping to also get other good savings out of the card too. It was neat to read how some of the rest of you have saved because of having the DC membership.
