Is CSR kid friendly?

We are thinking of staying at CSR for our next trip. We love the idea of queen size beds, recently upgraded rooms, and non-deluxe pricing for a deluxe look. We have two kids, ages 10 and 13, and would love opinions of people who have stayed here with kids. Is this resort kid friendly? Do they have activities for kids? Thanks so much!

My kids are younger than yours (6), but they LOVE CSR. My boys are pool lovers and they think the pool and slide are wonderful.

Many people like the food court, too. With kids your ages, they might like the variety of food offered there.

Afterall, a Disney resort is a Disney resort....

My 6 year old loved it. The dig site pool is really neat, and she loves seeing the turtles and frogs in the lake. The whole family enjoys the theming. We really enjoy having the queen beds. We LOVE CSR and this March will be our 3rd stay.

Thank you both!! I was starting to worry that I chose an adult oriented hotel. I couldn't see justifying the cost of a deluxe again when CSR seems pretty deluxe to me. Thanks again!!

My kids were 10 and 4 when we stayed there and both of them loved it. In fact, my four year old had so much fun in the main pool and on the pool slide I wondered if I had wasted money buying him park tickets
