We have a split stay booked the week after Thanksgiving: 5 days at CBR/ last two nights at CSR.
I posted recently debating whether to change those last 2 nights to a deluxe at a cost increase of $400, and thanks to the helpful input, decided to stick with my original plan.
Well, now I'm debating staying at CBR our entire stay. I have learned that if we do, we will get two additional gift cards for those 2 nights as well as more free dining days.(Currently our FD ends on Friday since we check out that day)
Current plan is to check out of CBR Friday, 12/1, go to EMH at MK with our things packed in our car, then check in to CSR Friday afternoon and hit Epcot that night. Saturday, our last day, would be spent entirely at MK. Not a lot of resort time.
Do you think we should just stay at CBR the whole time? Two more days of free dining and two more gift cards is hard to turn down, and the logistics of checking out/ checking back in on an EMH morning have me second guessing our plan. If we had a split stay, all of Saturday's meals would be out-of-pocket.
On the other hand, we would really love to check out CSR, especially if the construction at CBR is a downer.
What would you do? Do the differences between the 2 resorts warrant a split stay?
