Just want to say good luck to all of those waiting. I now remember why I stopped coming to the budget boards, and the DIS boards in general.

Yes, I did. This is the first time. That is not where the majority of the money that we are getting in our return comes from. You can be working and still qualify for the EIC. In the 20 years that I have been paying into the income tax system, the EIC in no way shape or form comes close to what they have taken from me.

Just find it ironic that someone thats had a net negative effect on the tax system is here griping about the way the govt operates...

Mine was deposited today. WooHoo!

My return was accepted on 2-18 with a deposit date of 3-8 (a tuesday) I was hoping it would be in there on friday but today it changed to 3-15. I have no eic, no homebuyers, no college credits just 2 w-2 and 2 1099's (one of them was for 1.44$)

I was supposed to receive my return on 2/25, but it got moved to 3/4. I received it today

We received ours today too. Ours was accepted by the IRS on the 16th of February.
