Irs refund question

Mine is! It said the 25th and this morning it was in there. Last night it wasnt.

Well my "on the 25th" refund wasn't there this morning.

I just looked and mine isn't there....guess I'll believe TurboTax for it to be March 4 instead. If it's not there by now, it's not going to show up later today...by this time anything that has been processed will have already shown up...I guess I will double check the IRS website again.

I own a tax business and we got a message from the bank we process our fees through stating that the IRS is backlogged from all the February 14th filings and that is why they are putting March 1st on their site. Normally all the people that receive their money on Friday the transmission is sent from the IRS to the banks on Thursday. As of 8:00 am ESt this morning our processing bank had not received a majority of those transmissions. So that is what is going on. I was hoping for my $$ today too!

I checked yesterday and it said she be received by March 1st. I checked today and it said due to processing delays, it be until March 8th now

Last night mine still said the 1st. This morning I now have the same message as you. I am hoping they will get it to us sooner but time will only tell.

Mine said March 1st, but it was in my account at 4 am! I think that is amazing! I filed on Valentines, got my refund today!

Same here. I checked this morning...nothing. I checked when I got into work...nothing. I just checked and it was there!!!!!

The bank I use doesn't post deposits until 4pm. soo fingers crossed that mine shows up this afternoon!

I just checked the IRS website again and now this is what it says "Your expected refund date has been changed due to processing delays. You should receive your refund by March 8, 2011."


Before it said March 1

I wonder how for everyone who was to receive their check on the 1st some receive them and others have to wait an additional week. I am in no means rushing out right away to use my return. It is actually going into savings, but what about people who are in desperate need of it. I dont think it is right to play with peoples emotions like that. Just my opinion.

Mines said the same thing. I am glad to know that is something that is happening to others. I used a different tax service this year, and I was starting to think that maybe it was a problem. Fingers crossed for next week
