Irons/Ironing Boards?

Hi, everyone. My first post. We are staying at AKL next week and are very excited about it. We have a simple question. Okay, OKAY! DW has a simple question. Are there irons/ironing boards in the Standard rooms?

How exciting - AKL next week! You are going to LOVE the resort! The answer to your question is yes, all the rooms have an niron and ironingboard. If for some reason your room doesn't, a quick call to housekeeping will solve that!

Just wanted to say Welcome to the Dis and have a great time at AKL. They had irons and boards in the closet on my visit. Can't wait to hear all about your trip when you get back.

Don't forget to check the official WDW website in order to see what each of the resorts' rooms offer. For your question, it states the following answer:

AKL Standard Guest Room (the 2 queen beds' version):

These rooms feature two queen-size beds, table and chairs, ceiling fan, bathroom with private commode, and data port on phone. Rooms also feature private balcony with a standard, savannah or pool view. Non-smoking rooms and rooms for Guests with disabilities are available.

Amenities include in-room safe, voice mail, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and 27" television. Coffeemaker and refrigerator available upon request.

Thanks to all for the information. We just got back this past Saturday from a week at AKL and had the time of our lives. AKL is one great resort! I'll try to post a trip report later.
