Irons in Staterooms?

No, there are not. There are laundryrooms with irons available for your use.

Another option is to send out your clothes to be pressed. We did this on our last cruise and it was quite reasonable.

If you do use the iron in the laundry room, make sure you go during an off time. Trying to use the iron around dinner time was nuts. I was lucky I was the first in line, but shortly after I started ironing there were 4 people waiting to use the iron and more coming down the hallway as I was walking out......

Can you bring a travel iron to plug in in your stateroom? How about a blow dryer? I heard the ones that are in the rooms are very weak. :jester:

Nope, against the fire regulations....:( The blowdryer I am not sure about....just throw gel in mine...

Iron = No, Hairdryer =yes... a lot of people will bring their own hairdryers because yes, I've heard too that the DCL hairdryers aren't strong at all... See Barb's demostration on her website!! A lot of people say they plug their dryer in near the desk and use it there.
Hope this helps.

If your hairdryer has one of those big squareish plugs, bring an extension cord. The plug near the desk is too close to the desk to allow the hair dryer to plug in.
