Iron?

Can anyone tell me if there is an iron and ironing board in your room? More than likely NO, but don't want to pack it if to my surprise there is one! Thanks!!

From what I understand they have irons and boards in the laundry rooms. They are not allowed in staterooms for fire concerns.

I have a travel size clothes steamer that I always bring along. I iron everything and fold carefully before packing. Then, I just steam out any folds while the garment is hanging - it works beautifully, and it much easier than trying to iron in your room, or fight for it in the laundry room. I think I bought mine at Walmart (I've had it for a number of years). You might want to consider this.

That's a great idea. Is it very big? About how much do they cost? Pros and cons?

I'm going to splurge on this trip for the laundry services, and let them press DH's shirts and DD's and my dresses for formal night.

I read a thread not too long ago which had the prices posted. (Anyone have it?)

Last year I was not prepared, and ended up ironing DH's shirt on formal night after I'd already styled my hair. By the time I was finished ironing in the sauna-feel laundry room (it only felt that way because I was trying to rush), my hair had fallen and my makeup was starting to sweat off.

(By the way, DH volunteered to iron it himself, but I've seen too many of his scorch designs.)

So can we bring our own iron? And how would you iron in your room with no board? I have to have an iron!!!

We just pack up everything that wrinkled right when our luggage arrives and let disney ship laundry press it...very inexpensive and we get to have fun, instead of ironing or pressing.
