They're wicked good!!! And don't go to Woodman's,that place is for tourists( not good). The Clambox is good but wicked crowded and they overload on the fries. If you really want good fried clams go past Woodman's and stop at Farnum's(its on the left overlookin' the marsh) These are some awesome clams and chowda!!!!
Have to ditto the above posts on those clams...they are the best.... Excellent choices on places to get them too...a fried clam is no good unless it is belly and all!!

come up a little closer and get them at Saco or Old Orchard......Village Inn is a great seafood place.........now we are cooking.....I need some fried clams..........and the funny thing is all these restaurants down south sell them as clam strips.....I mean ......lets eat the main part of the clam or nothing at all

Anywhere from the Charthouse to the No name restaurant or a local chain Legal seafood are very good.
