iPhone settings to save Data?

My son is on my plan and uses you tube a lot. And pandora for music.

Luckily I got in on a deal with verizon last year. 30 gb for the 3 of us to share for $130. I get 22% off of that through my job discount.

My dd is on my xh plan. He keeps a close eye on the 10gb they share. It's just them two. He can shut down her data at any time if she uses too much. She's very good about trying to be on wifi when she's on YouTube.

We just upgraded from 5s to 6 last month. Last week my dd used over 1GB in a day. I had a talk with her and she understood no more internet. Next day same thing happens but she was at an all day volleyball camp so I was suspicious as to how she could possibly have had that much during a lunch break. She swore up and down that she wasn't on the internet and had mentioned her and her friends just took pictures and videos during break. So that night I googled to see why we went from using maybe 2-3GB/month to using 4GB in a 5 day period. Turns out that there is a setting where videos are being uploaded to your cloud. I have turned that off and now we are back to using our normal amount of data.
