If I am not obstructing anyone else's view, I don't see why it should bother someone that I am using the iPad.
That's the whole point right there, simmered down to the basics. As long as you're considering those around you, please snap/record away!!

People can carry a full size desktop computer into the parks if they want. I honestly don't care. But as soon as they hoist it up in the air and block my view, I care. And I'm going to say something.
IMO, the ipads aren't anymore annoying than cameras,

Yes, the wifi in the parks works well. I'm glad they finally got with the times and started offering it.My friend and his family were just there. He was snapping pictures from bizarre angles and sending them to me to challenge my park knowledge. He said the wi-fi worked great, both in the parks and at POR.

I wonder how many of the people who take an iPad into the parks say "oh, I won't block anyone's view taking pictures with it" can really resist themselves in the heat of the moment, "just this once?"
Even if it's just this once, you just interfered with someone else's enjoyment of the park! Those things are obnoxious cameras. (Yes, I own one, too.)

I've taken it to many public places and never even been tempted to block anyone's view of anything. Unless, it is now Dis-Rude for me to "block" your view of my daughter hugging Alice after we've waited in line to meet and greet. Obnoxious? No, it's a device. People are obnoxious and they are everywhere and some of them have iPads in the park and some do not.
