Hello.. My name is Amy (30) and my dh46, we also live in Suburban Chicago and have 2 kids. DS2 and DD7 months. I've been DIS'ing for about 1 month and I am hooked!!!! Dh has been to Disney a few times, but it's been years. I have never been and I can't wait until we go to WDW next May. So I'm trying to learn all the tricks, find out the good places to go and experience the Magical place I know it is !! This board is the BEST !!

Hi...I'm Deana (39), DH(39), DD(16), and DS(12) we have been to Disney world 5 times. The first was Oct. 1997. We all love it. Our last trip was Dec. 2006. We are in the planning stages of our next trip right now.

I am a SAHM, Homeschooling mom and my DH is a plumbing contractor, so we are lucky enough to be able to go basically anytime of year.

I can't believe how many people I've seen mention Disney Magical Music days! DH and I were there for it when we were in high school. (Yes, we're one of the old fashioned type couples... high school sweethearts.) I was just wearing the Tshirt the other day!

I might have to start a thread just based on that... Hmmm...

I've been a DISer since late last year and found out about the DIS through a friend that we travel with to WDW with every October for F&W and MNSSHP. I absolutely love the DISboards

Since we live in Florida I have no idea how many times we have been to Disney World We are planning to go again in October from the 5th to the 10th. Then we have a family vacation planned for December from the 9th to the 14th.

I frequent the Kids boutique customs board although I have no kids and don't know how to sew I am taking classes and hope to learn to make cute customs for my DB's kids I also frequent the DVC boards too.

I'm Krista! I'm 28 (?? I have to count sometimes, I forget!) and I have 2 boys (ALMOST 3 and 5 years old) and a hubby that's 31.
This will be our VERY FIRST trip to WDW as a family (hubby and I went when we were kids) and we are so excited. We leave in 4 days.

Hi everybody. My name is Teresa. We live in Reno, Nv. I'm 32, DH is 36 and we have to Disney girls 10 and 8. We've been to DL 3 tmes in the last two years, next trip in Dec before the holidays. We've decided to turn it into a Christmas tradition. Planning a once in a lifetime FL trip for 2010. Can't wait. Been Dising since I started planning the first trip back in Fall '05. Found I liked the atmosphere here better than so many other board communities.

, I'm Lisa along with DH Jim and DD Megan......I started DISsing Sept 04 while researching our WDW/DCL trip in 05. I'm a SAHM, we own our own golf const renovation co and DD is in second grade and does ballet/tap/jazz classes. DD and I LOVE Disney, DH tolerates our passion. We mostly do Mom and DD trips to DLR, but drag DH with us occasionally and he really does enjoy our WDW trips, I have the photos to prove it.

DH and I have been to WDW 5 times, our DD 3 times and are planning our next WDW trip in Jan 06 for a week at PC. Since we live in CA we visit DLR many times during the year, at least 2-4 times, in the past year went Dec, Feb, Mar, July, next weekend for my b-day and coming up Oct 12-14 for 10th wedding anniversary (yes my non Disney DH me lots) and will be attending MHT that same weekend...gotta love that AP

After our last trip to DLR we saw a wedding party at DLH and DD annouced she wants to get married there, so I asked her what if her future DH didn't like Disney and she gave me a funny look and said "If I have to, I will find him on EHarmony".

I love scrapbooking and have recently started doing the swaps and enjoy our fun scrapping group over in the Creative Community.

This place is great and it helps feed all of our obsession for the mouse and these cute little just love the little buggers.....Long Live the DIS

...Hello. My name is Jamie, and I will be celebrating my 28th birthday at the World. MY DH 30, DD7, and DS4.5 got this trip for me. Too bad all they did was pay for it. I'm the one who has to do all the planning. Who am I kidding, I wouldn't have it any other way. I've been a lurker since 3/05, but recently joined. I couldn't help myself. We will be arriving 9/8, and if time goes any slower, I think I might do insane.

1.) I have been faithfully DISing since Feb. 2004.
My DH found the DIS and told me about it - now he probably wishes he didn't
In all seriousness though, I've met some wonderful people on here, and some of those people I can truly call my friends

2.) I mostly go on The Community Board, but then there are days I wander to other parts of The DIS

3.) I'm not sure exactly how many times I've been to WDW, but it's definitly over 15. My first trip was in 1976 when I was 5 years old, and my most recent was in January 2007

4.) My next trip is a Disney cruise in October 2007 - we ar very excited!!

5.) I have a wonderful DH whose an engineer by day, and a volunteer fireman/EMT when he's home. We have 2 little girls that are 9 & 4 - they are may angels. I own a custom picture framing business, and that's where I literally spend all my time (I'm there right now).

Hi, I am AJ's mommy...I do have a real name, but I have been called AJ's mommy so much...oh it's Phyllis (yes, fat old italian lady name). DH and I have been married almost 10 years, we have a DS, AJ, who will be 6 in November. Hmmm....we are all HUGE Philadephia Flyers fans (Cut me open, I bleed orange and black!) and DH is also a cyclist, so every July in our house is spent glued to Tour de France coverage. We are leaving for WDW on 09/08/07, and we are very excited. I was a DIS lurker for almost a year before I joined and started posting....I make cakes, scrapbook, and enjoy just about any craft there is to offer...but cake baking is my real joy, hobby wise. Well, I am in the middle of packing for the trip....I also have a little OCD...I started packing almost a month ago!!!

My name is Kerri. I am still 35 & will celebrate my 36th Birthday along with WDW, well 5 days after it celebrates it's 36th birthday.

I live in South eastern (sort of) CT. I work PT as a RN in a nursing home (1 day a week).

I have 3 kids & my oldest will be starting 1st grade on Tuesday. I have been married since May 2000.

I have been on the Dis since 2002 (I think). I don't post too often but if I do it is on Resorts, Budget, Family or Community & occasionaly Theme parks. I do lurk on the Photo board since I want a new camera (Rebel xti) & I want to learn a bit more before I bite the bullet & get one.

I have been to WDW over 10 times (lost count) & only to DL once (I was 6 & it was 1977 & on that trip Elvis died).

We are planning a trip next August.

My name is Andrea (42), and I have been enjoying DIS boards for a few months, but am on daily now in preparation for our trip the end of the month!

My DH Dave (38) and I have been married almost 10 years (in October) and we have 3 daughters, Katie - 6, Carly - 4 and Kira - 19 months. This is our second family trip to WDW, the baby, Kira was a 'souvenir' from our 05/05 trip

We live in central NJ, I am a 3/4 time SAHM, and I work as a consultant selling children's books, and am active in both older girls' schools. I love to read, and both DH and I love hockey (he is a Flyers fan and I love the Devils, lots of fun at our house during playoffs). We both play golf as well.
