Well my "long" wait is over! I got my acceptance letter today. It only took 1 week and 2 days. I've been cast in merchandise. Now the long wait until August!

My sister applied a week and 4 days ago and people here are already hearing if they were accepted or not before her...is this a good or bad thing?

That's actually when I applied, 1 week and 4 days ago.
She should be hearing soon hopefully!

I wouldn't worry. On average, the letters take 2-3 weeks to arrive.

I was just interviewed today and now I don't think i can wait two weeks to find out if i made it or not. And if I did...what happens if I have qsfb. I think I would be miserable...Does anyone have any good experiences with qsfb?

I'm not applying till August for Spring Advantage '09. But when I first came to these boards I crossed QSFB and Custodial off the lists almost immediately, but I've put alot of thought into it and I really want to do the program so if OSFB was my only way in I'd take it. I'm still not sold on custodial yet though.

I'm applying for Spring Advantage '09 also...should I apply as early as August? I was just going to wait until the fall when they came to the college for the presentation...Would it be better for me to watch the e-presentation, send in the app., and take the interview earlier than they visit for the on-campus presentation? (and I'm identical to you, lol. I REALLY want to do this program and I'd do almost anything...but custodial still scares me...lol. Something about cleaning public bathrooms turns me away heh).

Disney should start recruiting for Spring 2009 in late Sept/early Oct. As for which one, that would be up to you. I have done both the school presentation and online presentation, and was accepted both times.

everyone is accepted into the dcp, i think the "interview" is just a way to make you feel like this is something you should be "honored" to be a participant in. really, everyone gets in because they need cheap labor, which is what we are! also, the interviewer does not take into consideration what your top choices are or what you prefer to do, so you may get any role.

Awsome!! My roles have been merch, Character attendant (my role in 2006), custodial, and will be doing QSFB in May. I still am seasonal in character attendant.

Thats so great!! Character attendant was my 2nd choice, it looked like so much fun! I applied for some PI's starting in June, still waiting to hear from casting. Maybe I'll see you in Orlando!
