One of my 3 kids sitting side by side on a sofa watching TV - they're looking in the same direction and the planes of their faces look so similar... I love it! Plus we were on one of our fave hols - my DH had changed jobs and we had a month in Spain... It's just so beautiful and holds so many magical memories...

What's your favourite room in your home and why?

Wow, lovely pic Karen - aren't their profiles all so alike. What do they think of that photo now?

My "family" room. I think that says it all.
The walls are sage green, colefax and fowler curtains (hydrangera print - my fave in the house), oak floor, open fire, a large oak dining table, a small antique dark brown sofa (unfortunatly I gave in and let DH put a small LCD tv in there) and french doors out on to a hardwood deck - I love how the room is cosy in winter and opens out onto the deck in summer.
I'm sitting in it now.....

Is your taste in interiors modern, traditional or a mix?

All different....I prefer older furniture in a modern lighter setting, I love statement fabrics in small amounts. I describe it as gentlemens club meets new england/shaker!
Probably a bit of a mess to others!

I like mixing modern/antiques - I especially love oriental pieces and bold still life artwork. I'm going to say colonial with a french country twist... I'm not sure how that covers the hole in the hall ceiling but whatever...

Creme Brulee and Vanilla Cupcake from Yankee candles mmmmm. I also like their plug in air freshners.
