We recently completed a points exchange to Cabo San Lucas, MX in March. We "spent" 130
DVC points for a 1-bedroom / 2 bath unit with a kitchen (cooktop but no oven). We were very pleased with the resort (Villa del Palmar) and thought 130 points was a fair trade especially considering it was over spring break. The only DVC 1-bedrooms that even come anywhere close to only using 130 points are the AKV 1-bedroom value villas (which are unicorns) in shoulder season / winter. It was probably a better deal to do a cash getaway but these were banked points that we needed to use so why spend the extra cash when we could use the money for excursions or meals.
I would definitely use Interval International again for some sort of an exchange or getaway. I peruse the inventory on a fairly regular basis now so I can stay aware of anything tempting to book.
