Interesting conversation with CM on WDW Chat!!!!

Thats kind of what my most recent chat was like. Except he kept saying, remember the website can be updated at anytime so check back often. Looks like it's just a shot in the dark at this point as to when if/when it will happen!
 
This is what I just had for a conversation....everything had to be prewritten becuase it was sent over almost immediately. there was no way someone could have typed it.

Its gotta be hell for CMs... getting harrassed about discounts. They know that discounts are late and people are waiting. Gotta drive them nuts too that disney is holding out. You would think Disney would recognize this. :confused3
Imagine the day when those discounts do come out... I am keeping my phone fully charged so I have plenty of battery to sit on hold lol

Tried it again just to see...and i have my husband doing it at work too..lol...maybe we can annoy them to the point that they will just tell us to shut us up :)

you: also if my husband and I bought an 8 day ticket with out the hopper option and wanted to go to two parks in the same day would it just use up 2 days? We cant pay the extra for the hopper but are only staying 7 days and want to open one park and close another

I just tried getting some chat info - and the Disney Rep wouldn't give anything away - just said there are no promos right now. ugh.....
 
Omigosh, they are using robots to chat online! There is no way that was a live person chatting. No wonder no one is getting annoyed with us constantly checking for new discounts!
 
No - it has to be real people - I saw something one time that said they don't use their real names. Also remember it's Disney - they are highly trained in Customer Service - THE BEST Customer Service.

After my two lengthy telephone calls yesterday, I'm feeling pretty confident that the next offer will come out on October 10th. The first castmember said that he could book me under the "new promotion" that hadn't come out yet. The second castmember said that the first castmember should not have given out that information or given a quote because the "new promotion" wasn't in the system yet so the quote would be incorrect. The only reason she had me hold while she talked with Guest Services was because I had already been told about the promotion, the conversation was recorded and she wanted to "give you a specific date to call back". I held quite a while for her to come back with the date so I don't think she was just throwing out a random date to get rid of me.
 
I believe it is real pepople but that they copy and paste from a document so that their answers are uniform ya know

That's the date the second castmember told me after she spoke with Guest Services. She said to call first thing in the morning so that I could take advantage of the new offer.

I agree with you!!! :lmao: However, I think I'm out of luck anyway because my dates aren't until the end of NEXT October. :upsidedow

I just get a little frustrated because the UK received free dining for all of 2013 two months ago and we'll have to wait about every other month to see if free dining is offered in little bitty chunks.

(who knows? Maybe at this point, I'll have one of my UK friends make the reservations for me. ;))

Sorry, getting up 1 1/2 hours before normal every day doesn't do it for me. I am also worried the deals will come out while I'm at work, or when they come out what I want will not be available. I will be thrilled when I can kick back with a juicy discount and start counting down the weeks until vacation. I wish I had your outlook though, pixie dust to you.:coffee:

I admit it...I admit it!!! :rotfl:

I have a really stressful job and I try to tell my DH, who thinks I'm crazy, that the Disboards and planning are a great escape. How else am I going to keep my blood pressure down??
