I'm not a big fan of scary movies especially the blood and guts kind but I did like Poltergeist.

I'm not a big fan of scary movies either, but I recently saw "The Others" and loved it.

Not really movies, but I love any "ghost" stories that appear on TV around Halloween...those always spook me a bit. I am not in to too many horror/scary films as alot of them are just plain stupid and don't scare me a bit.

The movie Signs scared me more than the horror films I have seen!

Friday the 13th-but really only the first 3.

The Exorsist (don't know if I'd call it a favorite really but it's SCARY!)

ETA: another of my favorite scary movies is The Blair Witch Project. I know a lot of people really hated it but I thought it was very original and it scared the daylights out of me.

I think that The Blair Witch Project was the scariest movie that I've seen, but as far as rewatchability is concerned, The Ring is a great scary movie.

Willy Wonka IS creepy. I've never liked that movie. He's creepy in the way clowns are creepy.

Hah, I was just thinking about a scary movie I really liked today! It was "Delores Claiborne" with Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Kathy Bates. I was really freaked out watching "The Exorcist" as a teenager, though. Thought the first "Alien" was really scary, too. (It's what you don't see that gets you sometimes!)

The Exorcist - I cannot get that possessed voice out of my head, the only movie I have watched with my ears plugged.

The Last House on The Left - I am not sure if anyone will remember this one, it is from 70's. I saw it in the 6th grade and thinking of it still gives me the creeps.

IT - man do I have a fear of Pennywise.

The Omen I and II - That Damien was a mess.

My favorite is Rosemary's Baby, what a creepy movie.

Halloween is definitely the scariest I have seen only because the first time I saw it, I was around 10 years old (hiding in the hallway without my sister knowing because she was babysitting me!) and then I had nightmares for a year after!!

It is funny though because whenever we get together, we always rent it and watch it!
