Inspired by CB: do you believe in ghosts?

I was reading through a thread on the CB about whether or not people believe in ghosts/supernatural stuff.
Some really interesting stories!

So, do you believe in the supernatural?

I'm not sure but I think I do. I've seen and heard other people's accounts of things that have happened so that makes me want to believe in them. No personal experiences though.

Yes, I believe in ghosts.

I've never had anything happen to me, but one of my mom's friends have. When she was a kid and still living with her parents, she was playing hide and seek in her closet and when she was in there she saw something with red eyes looking at her.

She told her parents about it, they looked in there and didn't see anything that resembled red eyes or anything remotely similar and basically told her not to worry about it and that it was probably just her imagination running away with her.

Well, eventually she got older, moved out, got married, had a son and all that fun stuff. Never told anyone else in her family about what she had seen and basically forgot about it. One day though, when she went back to her parents house for like this family get-together, reunion or something like that, her son was playing in her old room with his cousins and at one point they came back down stairs and told her that they had seen something with red eyes in her closet looking at them and they didn't know what it was.

None of them have been back in there since.

Yeah, I don't have any first hand accounts, but I've seen and heard way too much stuff to not believe in ghosts.

And on that note, I'll probably sound like a HUGE freak with what I'm about to say. After a person passes, I get this feeling, like when a person is "gone" or not. Like, my grandma died in 2002/2003?, add I could tell that she was still "around". Like, her presence was there for a little bit, then it went away.
No, I wasn't grieving hard because I didn't really grasp how epic death was, I was 7.

I know, I sound like a freak. Whatever.

Yes. I believe in ghosts/spirits/the supernatural big time!
After my neighbor died, we got really close to his family. They were selling some of his stuff so they could sell his apartment, so we bought his TV and a couple other things. After a couple monthes had past and my family would get in major fights, the tv we bought that was his would turn on and go up to FULL volume and nobody would touch the clicker. The clicker wouldnt work either when we tried to turn it down. We always felt like it was him trying to tell us to stop.


I see lots of shadows in my house and other places.
My mom has seen ghosts in our house before.

I probably sound crazy.

I do. According to my grandma, after my grandpa died, I'd have full fledged conversations with him.

I believe that some people are insane. And I believe some people are so desperate to be with their loved ones again that their brain will make them see what they want to see. I believe that I've seen things, but I also know that I don't get much sleep, and that my imagination is a little too.. vivid. Whether or not there are ghosts doesn't really matter, I think. It's a coping mechanism, or something to have faith in, like God.

I certainly believe in ghosts.
I havnt had any encounters with any, but I highly wish I will someday.
I want to be like... a ghost hunter when I grow up.
I think that would be completly epic, beings pretty much nothing like that scares me...
After watching Paranormal State this morning, I'm extremly attemped to go and play the 100 Candles Game.

I love watching Ghost shows and then freak out about them later.
I'm also very superstitious, no Ouija boards for me, tyvm, you don't know what's gonna come through that door once you open it.

I don't really know if I do or not. It seems kind of unlikely, but there have been so many different stories over the years...I dunno.

Ehhh. Not really.

Once in the middle of the night my tv turned on and the show was all these people going into a haunted house. It was pretty creepy, but I think I forgot to put my remote up and hit the power and just happened to be on the channel when I fell asleep.

Then sometimes my bed will start shaking like crazy like someone is shaking it. We have a dryer that's a pretty violent shaker sometimes but it feels like an earthquake.

Then again the last one usually happen when I'm half asleep so I'm probably just imagining it. Lol.

I do believe in ghosts, but I do not believe that they are bad. I'm fairly certain there's a ghost in my old run-down apartment building. I have conversations with her all the time.
