Perhaps you can find some other family vacation that you can all enjoy together?our kids really really want them to go which is what makes it tough.

Dealt with many who had an opinion without ever visiting WDW.
The line I've used for years is to point out that WDW is 47 square miles.
When traveling with adults who are 75% set against Disney, we try to plan a trip around F&W, MNSSHP, or pre-Christmas December. IMHO, there is just a little bit more magic for the non-ride person during those periods.
How funny would it be if when your in-laws take your son to the carousel, and he tells them that the one at Disney is better.......

And you can just sit there![]()
Do you want to swap inlaws?
My inlaws made us take them this July's mid summer heat
They love going and doesn't care when. They even tagged along on my 16hr drive few years ago.![]()
Your third step of healing is:
With your drink in your hand, sitting at a pool, being relaxed, feeling
well .....great!
Now you raise your glass to the stars and say "Thank you".
When you get home you quietly take your inlaws aside and say "your right you probably wouldn't have liked it" (you have to say this so they don"t feel guilty of not going and this completes the healing process).
Remember, next year don't put your inlaws thru this again. LOL
No absolutely not! Inlaws and me in cars don't mix very well. There was a very very bad trip to the Grand Canyon once...and that was only 6 hrs

To the OP, if you decide you still want to take the inlaws, point out the fun they would have with grandkids at WDW. Doesn't matter if they like the rides, it is the grandkids who will love them.
