Hi all, I am looking to purchase a decent waterproof camera, any suggestions? I have the very first GoPro that came out and it is not easy to use (does not have a view screen) so I wanted something very easy, point and shoot, but takes decent pictures. Thanks!

I just bought the Nikon CoolPix AW100. Haven't tried it underwater yet but read very good things about it.

Do you want something to use in the pool? The rain? Snorkeling? Scuba diving?

There is a big difference between in some "waterproof" cameras based on what they're designed to be used for.

I rented the Canon D20 for our Hawaiian holiday about a month ago. Loved the performance and I'm actually considering a full purchase now.

Quick start up and it supplemented my DSLR and my iPhone nicely. While I don't take a lot of video, the small snips I did take were lovely. The shockproof/waterproof parts were awesome. I even secured it on my 6 year olds wrist so she could take snorkeling pictures on her own.

My main thought was to have it on Castaway Cay, when we snorkle. And the Aqua Duck. So a full underwater camera, but doesn't have to fo more than 10 feet. Something that takes good photo and movie when not underwater too. Thanks!
