Indy Speedway.

I don't think Cars was that good of a movie but becuase Disney is all about making money, they will probably make it into a Cars theme.

I ride the Speedway every trip, if the wait is short enough. I think it's fun just running into the rails. They need to go a little faster though. Through Disney's eyes it would be a great move if they converted it to a Cars theme, because it opens up to a big group of people who liked the movie.

Do you ride the little cars in the Indy Speedway in Tomorrowland? Yes!:goodvibes

Why or why not? Because it is fun!!

Do you think it'd be good for Disney to renovate it into a Cars theme? Absolutely not!

Do you think it'd be good for Disney to renovate it into a Cars theme? Hey! Ya don't mess with a classic!

They're awesome! :teeth: I love those kind of rides anyways. When I went to Cedar Point with my friend, we rode the cars like 10+ times. It was so much fun!
I know. I mean I love the mountains and stuff, but those calmer rides just got tons of magic to them!

No. Those things are impossible to steer.
Yeah actually, they are really impossible. You ALWAYS bump into the track. But hey, that gives it a little more "thrill" for all you thrill seekers out there.

Actually the Cars idea wasn't mine. I saw it on the TPAS boad. It'd be a GREAT marketing idea for Disney, to get money off of a very popular movie...but at the other time I think...It's a classic. It's "tomorrow" themed. Like Allie said, don't mess with a classic.

And I think pixar is overtaking the Disney magic... I don't know where I stand on that. I think the movie is cute and everything...

If the ride isn't toooo absolutely long, I'll definitely ride those. I don't care if I don't fit or not...Imma ride those things.

I made my dad do that when I was 8. Then I realized how fun it was and decided to do it myself.

Funny TIS story. My first trip there and it was about the 3rd time I had ridden Indy Speedway. We had waiting for about a 1/2 hour and I finally got a car. My dad sat next to me while I drove. When we got back to the beginning my dad yelled "KEEP GOING...I DARE YOUUUU!" So I did. I bypassed the expectant little kid faces, and the surprised look on the CM's and just kept on truckin'. It was so much fun but after that my mom kept telling me I was going to be put in Mickey Jail. I actually believed her a little bit.

:rotfl:

JENNY! That is too funny!!!!!!!! :rotfl:
I know. And I wasn't even a rebelious kid! It was very spontaneous but it still took a lot of confidence for me to do that!

Just like, I've finally accepted about the whole 'I have to wear a fanny pack' thing. I've looked at pictures. Tons of people wear them. I found one that didn't look too awful. I'm good.

hahaha...seriously! i bet all the kids waiting in line were FREAKING!!!!!

&&
fanny packs actaully seem to be in style now!!

i see TONS of girls with them on (mind you they are usually chanel or gucci ones.)

but i don't think they are THAT bad...EVERYONE at Disney wears them so it's not like you're gonna stand out or anything.

sidenote; I think they actually look kinda cool if you around them around you on one shoulder.
