Independence Day Challenge-Last Call for Updates!

Well, this is my first attempt at a challenge. I'm not sure if I;m ready for one or not. But I think I'm gonna throw my hat in and say 10 pounds.
My BF lost 20 in 2 months. So maybe some of her luck will rub off on me.

I currently have a personal challenge to lose 5 lbs. by May 30th, my 51st birthday.
I want to keep going for another 5 if I meet that goal. So, I guess put me down for a goal of 10 lbs. for the July 4th challenge. I'll be out-of-town on May 9th and may not get to a computer. I'll post when I return Wed. May 12th. Hopefully can avoid too much weight gain at Mom's.
 
I'm a very slow loser...I'm going to do my best to get rid of 4 and will be doing cartwheels if I can get more.

OK. I've got the exercise thing down. Now let's work on the eating thing again.

10 pounds by the 4th would take me halfway to my goal. That'd be something to celebrate!!!!!
 
OK, I didn't do very well on my first challenge, but this is perfect for me as I am running the Atlanta Peachtree Road Race (10k) on July 4th and that has been my goal date for getting most of this off all along. I am going for a fairly small loss in 8 weeks just 1 pound a week for 0/8 since I am nearing the end of my weight loss journey and am having trouble getting those last buggers to leave me (must be some really tough fat that I have ::yes:: )

hmmmm...I really need to get to ONEderland. So, I'm gonna say 15 lbs. I think I can do it becasue at Curves we have a team competition for May to see which team loses the most in combined inches & lbs. So I've got motivation on 2 fronts! I lost weight a year ago, so I know I'm not being unrealistic. Besides, I'd like to go back to work in late August with a lot more weight gone.

Been a busy week and not much computer time.

I did so well on the Mother's Day Challenge, I think I'm gonna try another one- I'm going to put my number at 15lbs and get closer to Onderland.

Count me in for this challenge, however, I am not sure what to chose for a goal. I have a busy, stressful 56 days ahead of me as I am in the process of moving from Italy to the US and the closer I get to goal the harder it is to lose the weight. I will be shipping all of my furniture a month before I move so we will be doing a lot of eating out. So I guess with that said, my goal by 4th of July is to lose 3 pounds or maintain. I know that doesn't sound like much to y'all, but for me it is a lot. For the Mother's Day Challenge I only lost 4 of 7 and that wasn't with all the other things thrown in. Also, I will have to end the challenge a little early, June 24th to be exact because that will be the last day I have my computer for a long time.

So now that I am done rambling, I commit to lose 3 pounds or to maintain in the next 6-1/2 weeks.
