Incentives for AKV purchsae while at DLR

I live in CA and am considering buying AKV.....I will be in LA this weekend about an hour away from the DLR...are there incentives better than the phone guides offer ($8 per point, developer points at SSR equal to what you buy at AKV, $500 referall gift card)? If they thru in APs or something worth it for us as we go to DLR a couple times a year. Any info is appreciated.

once and a while the offer 2 free annual pass vouchers to DLR or WDW. Check with your Disneyland Guide.

We added on at AKV this summer while we were stopping in to check out the Grand Californian models. We waited to add on there b/c we thought there might be better incentives but the main reason was to secure Founding Member rights to buy points first for the Grand Californian Villas. We aren't obligated to buy points there but I believe we get a 30 day "head start" from the other DVC current members.

With some working, we received Aug 08 points (our use year), matching developers points to be used at Saratoga Springs or Interval or Disneyland within 1 year, $8 off per point that we chose to have credited towards our downpayment, a $500 Disney visa gift card (that we are still waiting for!) and 2 annual passes to either Disneyland or DisneyWorld. We received our Disneyworld ap vouchers last week. Pretty great deal and we had a WONDERFUL guide who went out of her way to help us while we were there and even after. I'd be happy to pm you her name if you'd like---and if you need a referral, I'd be happy to send that as well! Happy shopping! Lisa

How long before you have to have the annual pass start? Are the vouchers transferrable (like to a relative) or sell-able (to anyone)?

Thing is the incentive programs for AKV officially end today and they have not yet announced what the new one will be although I suspect a lot of what it already is will continue.
