I think I missed you, but have a get 8 miler! Hope the weather cooperates.
I've got a 5K on Sunday morning - called Joggin for the Noggin. The part I'm looking forward to is the after party at my favorite brewpub. They're calling it Keg, Eggs and Legs! It's the whole reason I signed up.
Thank you! It was wonderful! When I went out to start running it was 59 degrees and sunny

. It was a gorgeous run through the country/mountains. I guess I didn't take into account that not many people must run on these long country roads as I was charged by several dogs that weren't restrained. I only had one actually lunge at me (a German Sheppard with it's hair up and teeth showing) but luckily I always carry dog mace on me.
It was also the first time that I felt like I belonged to a "club". A lot of my cousins (who were camping as well) are into running, triathlon's, CrossFit, etc. that it was fun to talk to them about races they've done, training they're doing, etc.
Hope you enjoyed your 5k! I'm signing up for a 10k at the end of October that's sponsored by Blue Moon beer. Whatever motivates!
I'm not sure yet what I'm wearing to the race (I work on one race outfit at a time!

) but I don't know if it'll be lime green.
I hope everyone had a great weekend and have had success in their training! I was supposed to run an hour last night but I had so much going on when I got home that I would run as fast as I could for 5 minutes, get off (the treadmill) and do laundry, make food for the week, etc., run another fast 5 minutes, etc. until I got to an hour

.
