That's not the way it is supposed to be, though I wouldn't complain if I was given a #1 boarding card. Anyone who was a platinum or concierge guest had a right to be upset if they were not given one of the first cards since that is supposed to be a perk. We are looking forward to that after this cruise.

I just reread your post and if the concierge lounge was allowed to board before you and you were in the regular line to go through the ears then the concierge and platinum guests did board before everyone else since those are the ones permitted in the concierge lounge.

Lisa even after you PM I still couldn't locate nor my DH on his acct. I don't know-I am not Facebook saavy. Now that I am in the group and do the search it does come up right away. DH thought I was crazy not being able to locate the group and then nothing to say once he couldn't find it either. It really was a closed group to us

Lynn has this right...I am platinum and was non-concierge. I entered through the ears. The silver and new cruiser were right behind me with "1" boarding passes. We had waiting outside the port from somewhere around 5am...maybe earlier - I am not sure.

The concierge board first - no matter WHAT level they are. Then the masses...this cruise it was a little more mixed up than usual. You are right that the platinum board before silver and gold usually. I think mistakes may have been made. But most of the folks I spoke to at the front of the line were platinum.

I hope no one is offended by this suggestion (I got sort of flamed for suggesting this once on another board! ).

As the group grows bigger it's going to be hard to keep track of real names vs. DISboard names. It would be very helpful if everyone could sign their posts with their first names so we can sort of get to know each other better.

Maybe I'm the only one, but it's easier to put a "personality" to a "real" name than it is to "BASHFUL2187" or whatever people's DISboard names are. Just makes people seem more real, somehow and for me, helps me sort of keep track of who's who.

Hope that makes sense. Of course everyone is free to do whatever they want! It IS just a suggestion!

Tracey- That's a great idea. I know on the last maiden voyage the only people I already knew were the ones that had they're names in they're signature... and even then it was hard remember that many people

It also makes it easier to figure out who is requesting to join the FB group. The list that is on FB under the DOCS section has DIS ID, room number and real names. This list will NOT be posted on this thread since it has the full names from FB which makes it easier to tell the difference when you have more than one of some names like mine.
