Vampira:lmao:

I lived in Barcelona for my senior year in college. It was part of a program that my school offered, where we could pay tuition as though we were going to our US school but it transferred to the University of Barcelona. I lived with a Spanish family for close to a year. Strangely enough, my major was Computer Science!

I can't... it is utterly banned here and they even search PMs for it. It is a DVC related site.

And definitely!! I am very pale, wear a lot of black, and prefer the night hours. :thumbsup2

Sarah, I knew it! Labyrinth is TOTALLY one of my fav movies!!

I am excited... I made my exercise challenge for February!! At 1095 minutes, my challenge goal was 1000.

AWESOME! That is a great accomplishment!

I should start doing the exercise challenge. I know that being on the WISH racing team really keeps me honest and on top of my running...I never let myself slack because I am accountable to them. This might help just as much!

Thanks!! I actually do the one on sparkpeople... there is a DIS team there and you get "points" for eating well and exercising that go toward the team.

Okay, food for today:
B: 2/3 cup fiber cereal (80), 1/4 cup skim (20)
L: Pita (60) w/ laughing cow (35) and ham (40), salad (110), cottage cheese (90), sf jello (10), small apple (60)
D: Stuffed shells (330) w/ red sauce (50), broccoli (35), mozzerella (50).
Total for today so far, 970. Exercise, 30 min on elliptical, 40 min weight training. Water, 64 oz.

I will likely have at least 100 cals in snack, although to be honest I am not that hungry right now. I think I am almost too tired to be hungry.

It's funny how the longer I do this low-calorie thing, the less hungry I get. I mean, I get hungry for sure but it seems like it gets easier to subsist on less food.

Not to get too OT, but seriously??? I have never heard of anything like that! How silly! :confused3

It has a lot to do with the paid advertising here on the DIS. Pete explained it on the podcast once. He is VERY particular about (1) who he let's advertise on this site; and (2) how they go about doing that advertising. Any company that violates that policy is banned. I have no idea what actually happened with this particular site in question, but if the website address gets filtered out, there is a good reason.

Good Morning Ladies and Gent!

I hope everyone is having a totally fabulous day... Subway did the trick and I lost .6 lbs this morning!!!! That means I hit my goal of 10 lbs for the month!!!!!!! 10.2 actually!!!! I was sooo stoked when I saw the scale this morning!!! Tonight I am going to the gym and then coming home to do laundry and pack for DL!!! Anywho I hope everyone is having a fabu day!!!

Sarah princess:

Great job Sarah! WOO HOO! You have been waiting to hit that 10 pound mark and you made it with a day to spare! WAY TO GO!

I have a few victories to report this morning as well....

First, I FINALLY busted through that awful plateau and lost 2 pounds! :cheer2: I am hoping that by next week I will say BUH-BYE to these damn 140s! This means 21 pounds to GOAL!

Secondly, I had a personal record on the TM this morning (just got back...still sweating! :rotfl2: But I couldn't wait to come here and check in with you guys! :grouphug: I ran for...get this...4.7 MILES! I guess I was just psyched to actually have a LOSS! Now, I never know whether or not to trust those calories burning counters that those pieces of cardio equipment have. You know the digital read-out (on TMs, the elipticals, etc.)...never sure how accurate they are. But it said that I burned 800 calories!

My third victory of the day was in clothing....two weeks ago I bought some new running and fitness gear. This one shirt that I wanted was too big in the size I had been wearing (:cool1: :cool1: ) but I was not yet small enough for the next size down. So I went ahead and bought the smaller one anyway....planning that it would fit in a few weeks. Now normally I never do this. I have been burned too many times...thinking, "it's ok that this is a little tight right now b/c I am going to lose weight..." only to end up getting rid of something that still had the tags on! But I went ahead and bought it anyway.

Well, IT FITS! I mean, it REALLY fits.

Not "almost,"
not "just a little tight right here,"
and not my personal favorite, "it looks good if I suck it in..." :lmao:

It just plain ol' fits and looks great! :yay: :yay: :yay: So even though I didn't see the scale move for those 2 weeks, I guess at least something was happening!

Ok...I gotta go shower now...I can't even stand myself! :rotfl2:

Four T.V. Shows that I watch:
1. Project Runway
Can you believe what happened last night!!!
Spoiler, don't highlight if you don't want to read:

I loved Chris March. I hate that Romy is moving on!!! Romy's coat was uggggly.

4. Good Eats and Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network
2 of my FAVORITES!
