In search of my body...not the one I ate!

4 miles???

*crawls back into couch*

I am going to do that program. I swear. But I need a warm-up one first. When I walk, I do 2 miles. I need that for a few months. I am afraid! The triathalon is in September. If I start Couch to 5K in May, will that be enough time???

Again--in my whole life--I have never, ever been a runner. Even when thin, even at my most fit (which was really fit!) I have not been able to run. With this program, I am running and loving it!

And you can definitely modify to meet your needs. For example, if you struggled during week 3, just repeat week 3 before moving on to week 4, etc. There is also a podcast that goes with it so that you don't have to keep track of anything...there is good running music and then the little voice comes on and tells you when it is time to walk and when it is time to run again, etc.

Also, I am running mostly on a TM and that make a bit of a difference (TM is a bit easier than running outside).

Way to go. I think us west coasters are the only ones still up. Can you believe it-1200. What a great group. I am going to treadmill to BL. I don't remember if I watched it last week. I'm still up.... on a work conference call at 10:21PM. Combined w/ the 2AM problem call that started my day.... well, you can see how good of a day this has been.
 

sorry for my lack of posts tonight... I was at the nursing home where my gram lives celebrating her 95th birthday... I still can't believe that... She was very cute tonight and was happy to see us - even if she may not be able to remember us all anymore...

I actually ate pizza for the first time since my gallbladder saga so that was a good thing. I stopped at two pieces which is huge for me... Usually, I could put away four or five pieces without even thinking about it... I did not get my workout in tonight, but will walk tomorrow at lunch to make up for some of it and then it is back to the pool tomorrow night...

3DK - don't give up on WW's... I would have said something obnoxious over the way I was treated so I applaud your restraint... keep us posted on the new meeting...

I am still up as well...haven't you figured out that I never sleep? Seriously, I go to bed at 1am most nights and sleep till about 7 when it is time to get the kids ready for school.

Kat- When you said you were still up, I thought but she was up so early with that call, I then read yes, you were up at 2. Does it ever end? I hope you get to bed soon.

I posted, a little earlier and it is not there. It was to 3DK and Bride. Oh well, it was about the imusic free CT5K download.

I hope everyone is safe and sound. The news this morning and then again this evening had clip after clip of bad weather, roads and accidents. The reports from Ohio looked so beautiful, but dangerous. Stay warm and safe.

I was up at 2 with the call, but I went back to bed until the next call at 7.

Thankfully, I just finished with the call about 15 min ago and it appears that everything is fixed and good. Cross your fingers for me that it all doesn't fall down again tomorrow!!

Plus, I did manage to make it to the gym between work and coming home to deal with more work. Man, now I remember another reason why I go to the gym at lunch.. the place was packed! I was thinking to myself as I rocked out to Illuminations pre-show, good thing for headphones! I bet all the so-called "cool kids" would have thought I was nuts if they knew what I was listening to...

Food for today:
B: 2/3 cup trader joe's fiber cereal (80), 1/4 cup milk (20), coffee
L: flax pita (60) w/ roast beef (50) and laughing cow (35), salad (120), jello (10)
D: Pan fried tilapia (90) breaded w/ one mushed toasted slice whitewheat and seasonings (50), steamed broccoli (25), 1 single serving can chef boyardee mac&cheese (190), 1/2 oz light cheddar (30)
S: 1 7oz glass white wine (140), 5 cheesecake bites (100), 100-cal pack cupcakes
Total, ~1100. Exercise, 45 min on elliptical, 100 crunches on ball. Water, 80 oz.

Hope everyone had a better day than me!!

I lost .2 lbs again today... While I am happy I lost, I'm frustrated that I am on the tip of my monthly goal and I'm just not making it... lol... I have like .4 lbs to go and it seems like it will never come off... LOL... I know I'm exagerating but sheesh... Fat needs to just go away lol... Is it sad I lost more weight the week I didn't go to the gym... LOL... maybe LA Fitness really is the devil.... :lmao: Anyway! Moving forward... I have 2 more days!!!

...So, that is my saga. Thanks for reading. I am sorry....I feel like I have been doing nothing but whining lately! It is just that hitting the plateau has been more than frustrating...it is downright infuriating!

But...a HUGE thanks to all of you for your support! And Liz and Liz....both of you helped me out today more than you can know! :grouphug: Truly...thank you.

What a bummer!! Hopefully the other location will be more of a fit for you. It seems like 40 people in one meeting is huge. My mom said that there were usually between 15-20 those that she attended.

And, as if that wasn't fun enough we are supposed to get like another 10 inches of snow between now and mid morning, FOR THE LOVE! :headache: I can't wait til spring.

Hi guys! My laptop is down so I'm not checking in as much as usual.

HK - job security is exhausting.

We have yet ANOTHER snow day here in Ohio. So, I'm with the kiddo's for the day. We slept till 10am which is the good thing, but now we are all awake and the nit picking has started.:eek:

We'll head to the office once I know the roads are safe.

I was watching the news this morning and I am almost certain they said that chicago has gotten some insane amount of snow this year...85 inches...? UGGGHHH!! I love snow but that is just too much! Be safe!
