Good morning everyone!
That was definitely a rant and a half!!! I have a mother who is miserable with herself, her life and everything in it too. She takes it out on me as I am the only one out of 3 that lives anywhere close (sister in OK and brother in UT). Lucky me and lucky you too. Take it from whence it comes and remember that misery only breeds misery. I had to finally tell my mom that unless she perked up, she was going to have to find someone else to talk to. I told her she was too negative and she was bringing me down. Do you find that it just saps your energy talking to her....it does me!!
Erica, that just proves what a great mom you truly are. I follow my son around the first day too. My DD is 13 (nearly 14) and she is pretty independent but my baby is only 6 (almost 7) and he still needs me. At least that's what I tell myself!!
A big hi to everyone else and welcome to AmyKab. Nice to see you getting out and about!!
As for me, busy busy busy as usual. Just fitting in my exercise is hard work. With all the visiting family, I am up another 5 which makes me 10 up total now and not very happy about the whole thing. I went out on a 9.5 mile run on Sunday and totally dehydrated myself. Lost 4 of those pounds (obviously not in a good way) but managed to find them again. Since the family left, I have lost 2 total. My DD13 also announced to me that she gained 5 with the family home and I now outweigh her by a mere 2 pounds. Good thing she is all muscle or I would worry!!!!!
I hope everyone has a great day. I am still checking in even though I don't have much time to post. I don't have time to post anywhere and I feel pretty bad about joining, dropping out, popping in and disappearing again. I hope you all know that I am still out there lurking along with you and supporting silently. Keep up all your great work!!!
