Erica I still get nervous before 10 miles. 8-9 don't bother me so much I just set my frame of mind that time does not matter, the miles do. I also, on particulary bad days, will R5/W1 and it makes me feel like the distance is more doable. After the 4 mile marker, something kicks in inside me and makes me feel like I could just keep going.
I have been toying with the Maine Womens Half. I run 9 on a general basis on the weekend so 4 more is no big deal. If you truly need some support, I would be willing to come down and run with you...not too fast though...I am only human!!!

Sam has talked me into taking one of her friends, she is a good kid, but I wasn't planning on an extra kid. Well at least I won't have to listen to Sam say she is bored.

I know! I'm really stressing. My biggest problem is the newest podcast isn't in itunes, and I could really use it for the drive.

.....12 goats from our house to be loaded up and taken to fair tomorrow...25 kids in my goat club to "manage"...it's just been nutso.
thats AWESOME!
