Yesterday WE just kinda threw everything together so today I am planning... I think! :rotfl2: I am still sitting here:lmao: !.......Planning......... I have two hours before DH gets home........... I got to plan something good!
Have a great day!

Hey Michelle Welcome!

/
Ok so I wanted to let everyone know what great choices I made!!!!:rotfl2:
I went to the supermarket and I walked and walked. So here is the menu

Pasta salad - (smart noodles 3x the fiber) lots of veggies and fat free dressing with turkey pepperoni.

Chicken tenders marinated in hawaiian fat free marinate, Grilled

Hot dogs and burgers for kids

left over - sausage patties

Steamed squash

Potatoes and onions on the grill but in a foil packet.

Berries and cream wonton cups

I only brought bottled water today because yesterday we brought diet soda and 12 cans were gone in the four hours! ONLY WATER TODAY!
MMM those berry wontons cups are so good! and only 1 pt a piece!!!!!:lovestruc

So I had a sausage patty on a bun, potatoes and squash. I also had 2 hot dogs when we first got there because I didn't get lunch to busy making everything. three bottles of water.
Then DH had to spoil everything by bringing us for ice cream, I was like we have those berry cups back at the house... I want an ice cream.... Kids do you want berry cups or ice cream!!! ICE CREAM  so I ended up with a small chocolate cone and now I have had three berry cups. So in all I had 32 points today only 2 over! Not bad! no weight gained as of now.

Kindergarten visit tomorrow with Ty, then Tuesday Parc Safari with Zac's class tuesday will be a lot of walking around the zoo.

Oh goodie someone else I know on here! :goodvibes I followed the link from Dawn's pre-trippie since I figured if she was here there would at least be lots of humor!

Actually that is how I found my way here is by your trip report... I found Dawn through you and then followed here! They are a great bunch of girls here!

You know, I am really beginning to LOVE Mondays! Weird, I know. But it is a fresh beginning, a new week, etc. It let's me forget about any of the mistakes of last week and ready to start this one ahead.

I'M MARRIED!!!

Hi everyone, just popping in for a second, off to bed soon, i have a 3 am wake up call to catch a flight to disney!

Wedding was beautiful, i promise to post pictures when i get back!!

STACEY! Congratulations! I was thinking about you all week-end! Glad everything went well. And yes, we want a whole report, with pics! I know that you are already in the air as I write this, but have an awesome honeymoon at DISNEY! WOO HOO! Take time to enjoy it...slow your pace a bit...and just enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime specialness of this trip.

Please can I join you? I have one more week of school before summer vacation and I really want to focus on getting to a healthier place. I'm not ready to post how much I have to lose, but it's a lot more than I would like it to be.

WELCOME! So gla to have you here! If you look back on page one of this thread, you will find our "cast of characters" for this thread....that way you can learn a bit about each of us. Share whatever you are comfortable with here. It has been an awesome source of support and friendship for me!

Ok, I am off for a run. It is going to be HOT and HUMID today. Yuck. So I have to get my run in early or it will not happen at all. My folks returned from their trip, so they are home and safe, and I will spend the day with them getting caught up and helping them around the house, etc.

More later.

Have appointments Monday to move this divorce into FF...long story I do not want to share via boards due to Dan's ex reading....just please know...I have not been making great food choices...popcorn::
and the TR thread was a source of anything to look forward to..I just did not have enough energy to beat myself up last week about my weight...which I would have...

Glad to see you back here, Dawn! Don't feel that you have to stay away just because you are not on program! In fact, when I slip (meaning EAT crappy food or too much food), this is the FIRST place I come to get my head back on straight. Or when I feel like blowing off a work-out, I come here, read for a bit and then I am energized and motivated.

So, look at this place as a source of inspiration and support. It is NOT just a place for posting when you are doing everything right. If we all did everything right all the time (1) we wouldn't be in the bodies we are; and (2) we wouldn't need the support of each other. Post your failures. Post your weaknesses. It's ok.

the girls at here at work threw me a surprise party with yummy high cal food. and the stephen had dinner waiting for me when I got home, so i ate small at both and skipped the cake.

Did I miss something? Was it your birthday last week? If so, what was the big number?

So, today I spent 7 hours helping my friend clean out her house...same person as Wednesday.

Ok. So you get the crown for being a super duper friend. :worship:
Right now I have my three kids plus 7 extra's to feed, I promised them pancakes this morning and I finally hear some movement upstairs.

OMG! Wonderwoman much?

Erika better NOT come after me to exercise more! I am already at 400 min for the month

Kat, that's a neat way to track exercise. I will think about it, while I think about exercising.

Morning everyone...

I have been reading for 1/2 an hour to get caught up....

...Yesterday morning...Baylor had soccer...I had told him before I left the house to get his room done or no soccer in the morning....guess what was not done?

So i told him we were going to sit and not go until his sh!t was done..and surprise...he had it accomplished in 2 minutes...then we were in the car and ...I asked if he had rememebered to brush??Nope???? Then I will wait ...turned off the car..he ran in...and we were at the game with 10 minutes to spare...not 30 like he should have been...

Go Dawn!

And then Chad calls me...saying..I told you you had to leave at 8:45 to get there on time...I said...then maybe you should have enforced him to follow through with responsibilities...

Then I realize I am talking to the giant turd...who is not responsible...and need to get to the point I just hang up...because there is no reasoning with poop....

Ok. :lmao: Your correct. There is just no reasoning with poop. Oh Tag Fairy, I got a goodun'.

...and I think it was one of the best days i have ever had in my life...

agree, those days are the best...

Dawn...more to follow

I'M MARRIED!!!

STACEY! :bride: Yaaay! Congratulations! Have fun in WDW. And be sure to post ASAP. Inquiring minds want to know.

Please can I join you? I have one more week of school before summer vacation and I really want to focus on getting to a healthier place. I'm not ready to post how much I have to lose, but it's a lot more than I would like it to be.

STX3 - welcome to the party. We are always looking for members.

Berries and cream wonton cups

Gonna need a recipe. Like right now. K.

You know, I am really beginning to LOVE Mondays!

You really are just a trouble maker, you know that? Monday...

Glad to see you back here, Dawn! Don't feel that you have to stay away just because you are not on program! Dawn, I second this. Oh, "Creater of thread". This is not about being on target. If it was, I would SO NOT be welcome here. I have gained 6 lbs since January 1.

This is about encouragement, inspiration and respite. While you can certainly do what you want and go where you want, please don't think of us with hesitation. K? And don't be sorry either. We love you. Wherever your daily post takes you.

About me. Not much to post. I'm hot. My weekend was calm. I was childless for most of the weekend so that was nice.

Saturday evening DH and I were scheduled to go to a restaurant opening. (He was the GC.)

I went to get a new skirt, because I wanted to look, "casually together." Liz, you know what I mean.

I found a black skirt with a calm white paisly print and a black t, at Kohls, on clearance. (I'm not sharing the size as I'm not real happy about it.) I can wear black sandals or black flipflops. Perfect.

Gased up my new ride. Had it washed. Loaded up 6 different cd's. (Liz - Sarah McLaughlin, Chicago, Aerosmith, Monster Ballads, GNR, and Tom Petty.)

So, I call hubby around 4 to see when we will be heading out.

He says, "I think I'd like to ride the scooter." (meaning, the motorcycle.)

I said "but I bought a new skirt."

he says, "I'm not dressing up." Translate to, get your jeans on, we're taking the scooter.

I don't particulary enjoy riding a motorcycle. You know how people say, "you either get it or you don't" well, I don't.

But...I didn't have the girls, so I wasn't scrambling to make arrangements and the forecast was clear, so we rode the scooter. The restaruant was 1.5 hours away. All in all, it was ok. Not to far for my untrained hind end and far enough hubby was happy.

Sunday, went to church, in my new skirt.

And now it's Monday.

I enter everything into sparkpeople and IT keeps track of it for me... I am in a couple of exercise challenges (running the one on sparkpeople, and part of the one on DIS), so it helps for that too.

It is HOT here too... 91 when I got out of my car at 9:45AM.

Sorry about the skirt. :(

STACEY! Congrats!! Time got away from me, I guess I didn't realize it was this soon.

Erika, hope your run went well. I totally agree about posting good AND bad.

I am irritated today. So far it has been one of those days where nothing goes right, broken zipper on the skirt I want to wear, fuzzy sticky hair because of the humidity, can't find sunglasses, running late and need to stop at the vet for food, can't remember my password to something, coworker next to me on a LOUD-A$$ personal call facing me while cleaning out her desk (which usually doesn't bother me but is driving me CRAZY today), etc. Should have stayed in bed like I wanted to.

Whew....

Between catching up on what you all have been up to, I am now exhausted. Between the newlywed, a super house cleaner (can I get on your list next?), the exercise queens, our newest member (welcome) and those deep in the end of the school year activities, I am so not worthy in comparison... You are all doing great and I am going to echo some of the other comments and remind everyone that this board is not just for triumphs. While it is great to celebrate my accomplishments, I love the fact that I can come to this board when things are not going perfectly and know that I will get the inspiration and encouragement I need to keep going. We are all in this together, but we can't do that if we don't all post...

What a week and a half I have had. I am finally getting a chance to breathe after the trip to MD for Odyssey of the Mind World Finals followed quickly by the big anniversary party for my parents yesterday. I am now exhausted, hot and frankly, a little cranky but at least I have nothing scheduled for the next week so I can relax and oh I don't know clean my room so I can find clothes to wear to work that aren't logo polo shirts...

The party went well, but man was it hot yesterday. Everyone had a great time and my parents loved it. We are not fussy folks so there were no toasts or anything, but it was an afternoon filled with good family, friends and fun. The menu (since I know some have asked) included grilled marinated london broil, BBQ chicken tenders (for the non beef eaters), tossed salad with oil and red wine vinegar dressing (made by my aunt who is the best at this), a lime and pineapple jello salad and fresh breads and rolls. Snacks included veggies and dip along with an assortament of chips, dips, salsas, guacamole, bruschetta mix, hummus, etc. Dessert was cake, Italian cookies and fresh watermelon. I snacked a little over the course of the day and made a small sandwich with a huge scoop of salad as my main meal so I think I did all right. I had a small piece of cake as a treat. Truth is, I never stopped moving over the course of the day to eat much, so I think that is a good thing...

My weigh in is tonight. Based on my home scale, I am thinking that it will be a good 3 - 4 pound gain which I kind of expected based on this last week's eating habits (catering food in MD, food on the road while travelling, party food yesterday) - not exactly healthy choices... As Erika said, today starts a new week and I am back on track. I am even going to go home and walk my four miles tonight (thank god for air conditioning - I can walk inside...)

I'll upload some photos to my photo bucket account later tonight so I can post on what I have been up to...

Miss you all...
Goof

Paula, sounds like you had a great trip!! Glad that everything went well.

Oh and I forgot, Welcome Michelle!! :yay:

Goof. Glad the party went well. Did you make the "grilled marinated london broil?" That sounds very complicated.

And, maybe you'll get in some golf just for "you" this week.

Yes, pics please.

Did I miss something? Was it your birthday last week? If so, what was the big number?

YES IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY ON THE 3RD.
I WAS 34 and dam proud of it:rotfl2:

Gonna need a recipe. Like right now. K.
Lyz here is your recipe!

BERRIES 'N CREAM WONTON CUPS
24 SQUARE WONTON WRAPPERS
1 TABLESPOON OF BUTTER MELTED
2 TBSP SUGAR GRANULATED
1 8OZ CONTAINER OF STRAWBERRY YOGURT (LOW FAT)
1 1/2 CUP THAWED COOL WHIP FREE (DIVIDED)
1 CUP RASPBERRIES
1/2 CUP BLUEBERRIES
2 TSP POWDERED SUGAR

Pre heat oven to 350`. Spray mini muffin tin with pam or non stick spray. Using a pastry brush , brush one side of the wonton with melted butter. Sprinkle with sugar. Press each wonton Sugar side up into the cups of the muffin tin and Bake for 6- 8 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool completely.
Place yogurt in small bowl and fold in 1 cup of the whipped topping. scoop yogurt into each cooled wonton. top each with a dab of cool whip and add a few berries to each. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and sever immediately!
They don't fare well in the fridge! they get all soggy but they are still good.

For those counting cals and points here are the values
2 wonton cups =
110 calories
3g total fat
18 carbohydrates
2g protein
110mh salt
1g fiber

For WW it is 2 points for 2 cups or 1 point a piece

Gased up my new ride. Had it washed. Loaded up 6 different cd's. (Liz - Sarah McLaughlin, Chicago, Aerosmith, Monster Ballads, GNR, and Tom Petty.)
Good music! Aerosmith (They lived two towns over from where I grew up) GNR (ah the memories first concert) & Tom petty... did ya have zombie zoo? Love that song! MONSTER BALLADS!! I AM GLAD THERE ARE OTHER PEEPS THAT LIKE THIS MUSIC STILL. I have poisons greatest:bitelip: hits on the car and I have friends that make fun of me!
Ya, cause it's MONDAY!

Does that mean I am going to have a difficult Monday night too! I hope not!:worried:

Happy Birthday Stephanie! Whoo-Hooo.

Thanks for the recipe. Sounds delicious. I'd walk a mile for a raspberry.

Music. I love me some tunes. And you can never go wrong with Aerosmith, no? My 12 year old has a slight obsession with AS right now.

Poison. Yes, have a cd. But Brett Michaels, NOW. OMG. How embarrassing, right?

Goof. Glad the party went well. Did you make the "grilled marinated london broil?" That sounds very complicated.

And, maybe you'll get in some golf just for "you" this week.

Yes, pics please.

The london broil was incredibly easy.... Take a piece of shoulder cut london broil, marinate it overnight in something acidic, like a vinegar based Italian salad dressing (I like Paul Newman's Family Style Italian) overnight. When you are ready to grill it, take the meat out of the marinade, pat it dry and let the meat come to room temp. Season with kosher salt and some Montreal steak steasoning or cracked black pepper and grill on a low - med heat until it hits the point where you like it (rare, medium, well). Let it rest and slice thinly to serve. Makes a tasty sandwich. We did 15 pounds worth for the party and the cooking time was about 40 minutes for a medium temp.

I am so hitting the driving range this week. I need to clear my head.... not to mention get some practice in before my next lesson... I am also going for a manicure since that is a simple little thing just for me... I just need to pick a color...
