Thanks Paula! I did have a good week I went to get a mani/pedicure on monday with my best friend and then went to lunch with another and then off to see Sex and the City and then home! Birthday I lounged all day! and then went to dinner with the family! Then on thursday the girls at work had a party for me just a causal snack stuff to eat while we were on break. Then Honey had dinner made for me when I got home. Over all it was a great night
For mani pedi I got OPI's La Paz-itively Hot
PINK!!!

The london broil was incredibly easy.... Take a piece of shoulder cut london broil, marinate it overnight in something acidic, like a vinegar based Italian salad dressing (I like Paul Newman's Family Style Italian) overnight. When you are ready to grill it, take the meat out of the marinade, pat it dry and let the meat come to room temp. Season with kosher salt and some Montreal steak steasoning or cracked black pepper and grill on a low - med heat until it hits the point where you like it (rare, medium, well). Let it rest and slice thinly to serve. Makes a tasty sandwich. We did 15 pounds worth for the party and the cooking time was about 40 minutes for a medium temp.

Ohh, I'm gonna try this.

Well, he looks ok for his age. But, comon' how much of an idiot do you have to be to try and find a "deep" relationship with a bunch of hussys. It's a total joke and I am embarrassed for him.

Now that I know, I guess I'm gonna have to go to Marshfield and make a fool of MYself.:rotfl2:

I remember Extreme, but never bought the cd or anything. I like all kinds of music. Really nothing is off limits. itunes can't figure out what category to place me in.

Kat, that's a neat way to track exercise. I will think about it, while I think about exercising.

Kat and I both do the exercise challenge here on WISH. You should come join us. It's ok...I have armour on...throw whatever you want! :rotfl2: Seriously though, that challenge thread and being on a racing team (Walt's Warriors) totally makes me exercise when I don't want to (which DOES happen, btw....)

STACEY! :bride: Yaaay! Congratulations! Have fun in WDW. And be sure to post ASAP. Inquiring minds want to know.

DITTO! Must. Post. Pics.

You really are just a trouble maker, you know that? Monday...

Who? Me? :rotfl2:

Gased up my new ride. Had it washed. Loaded up 6 different cd's. (Liz - Sarah McLaughlin, Chicago, Aerosmith, Monster Ballads, GNR, and Tom Petty.)

I don't have the words....:worried:

But I think I got that same skirt at Kohl's. They were having a HUGE sale.

Erika, hope your run went well. I totally agree about posting good AND bad.

It was awful....not pretty...and I ended a mile earlier than planned. I was drenched with sweat and feeling gross. But I got in 4 miles, so I'll call it good. I did a longer core work-out to make up for not doing the last mile.

I am irritated today. So far it has been one of those days where nothing goes right, broken zipper on the skirt I want to wear, fuzzy sticky hair because of the humidity, can't find sunglasses, running late and need to stop at the vet for food, can't remember my password to something, coworker next to me on a LOUD-A$$ personal call facing me while cleaning out her desk (which usually doesn't bother me but is driving me CRAZY today), etc. Should have stayed in bed like I wanted to.

I hate those days! Sorry! Calling MS as soon as I am done with this post so we can work out the point transfer.

Whew....

Between catching up on what you all have been up to, I am now exhausted. Between the newlywed, a super house cleaner (can I get on your list next?), the exercise queens, our newest member (welcome) and those deep in the end of the school year activities, I am so not worthy in comparison
My weigh in is tonight. Based on my home scale, I am thinking that it will be a good 3 - 4 pound gain which I kind of expected based on this last week's eating habits (catering food in MD, food on the road while travelling, party food yesterday) - not exactly healthy choices... As Erika said, today starts a new week and I am back on track. I am even going to go home and walk my four miles tonight (thank god for air conditioning - I can walk inside...)

I'll upload some photos to my photo bucket account later tonight so I can post on what I have been up to...

Miss you all...
Goof

What an awesome daughter you are to do that for your folks. I am glad that it went well...sounds like everyone had a blast! Go for it on the walk tonight! WOO HOO for 4 miles! You can do it!

YES IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY ON THE 3RD.
I WAS 34 and dam proud of it:rotfl2:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I am so hitting the driving range this week. I need to clear my head.... not to mention get some practice in before my next lesson... I am also going for a manicure since that is a simple little thing just for me... I just need to pick a color...

goof

YES! You have been giving to others for the past few weeks....do these things for YOU! And post your color. Since we are all OPI girls...:rotfl2: We can get matching toes at SSR in Dec!

For mani pedi I got OPI's La Paz-itively Hot
PINK!!!

WOW! You are braver than I am! :rotfl2: I am still wearing the same color as Liz ("Nice color, eh?") but will be getting another pedi on Friday....so I will take OPI recommendations. ;)

Now that I know, I guess I'm gonna have to go to Marshfield and make a fool of MYself.:rotfl2:

Come stay with me. It is only an hour and half....

Yes, The one night that I did watch Rock of Love 2 I was like HUH? Meaningful relationships and true love with a bunch of playboy bunnies! NOT!
Well if you are going to make a fool of yourself then I would go to Norwell instead I guess he is there all the time and bring ME!!!!!!:hyper: . Convenient store called Drums or that is what it was called years ago. His restaurant like I said is right across the street. Mt blue or something like it is called... I know it is something Blue.

I was listening to Extreme about a year or two before they hit it big..thanks to my cousin. She was a groupie! Hell she even took me to a bar when I was 14, got in at 1 am and off to school at 730 with beer cans falling out of the car. NOT MINE! made a great impression with the teacher that was on duty in parking lot! And it just happened to be my science teacher!:lmao:

EriKa - we share same taste in skirts but not music? You don't enjoy the long haired bands of the late 80's/early 90's? Those where your glory days. Who were you listening to? Other than your suedo/boyfriend the tennis pro:rotfl: ?

Since we're on a hair band kick at the moment, I have two words for you all....

Bon Jovi....

Is there really anything else that needs to be said...

livin on a prayer...

LOST:
My life. I can't seem to find it....must have been accidentally picked up by someone else. I'd really like to give you back the one I'm living right now, and take back the one that I previously had. I had grown quite fond of it....miss it terribly....

Things are just so darned busy around here - haven't had a stinkin' moment to myself for WEEKS. Today I *should* have had the better part of the afternoon to try and catch up on house cleaning (my dust bunnies are now TUMBLEWEEDS and your feet will stick to my kitchen floor! :rolleyes1 ) but....my mother called - she and dad are coming for dinner (have to go to a wake for an old friend who died) and then, the kids got sent home from school early because....it's HOT. I'm so annoyed about that. I mean, it IS hot here today - but for cryin' out loud! Suck it up people - it's not THAT bad...:furious:

Honestly - what the *ell are we teaching our kids? Of course, their health and safety should be a top priority, but come on. Just because it's a bit on the warm side today, they should all pack it in and go home? bah. Hopefully I'll have time tomorrow to catch you all up on what's going on in my life (nothing bad, nothing GOOD...just busy!).....oh and guess what? All that weight you guys are losing? Seems I've FOUND some of it. I'm gonna pass it along soon....want it back??? :goodvibes

Nancy! Great to hear from you! Though I am sorry you are crazed at the moment! And being sent home b/c of the heat??? Oh come ON!

Yeesh! How hot is it there? 101 here right now... can't help ya on the life, though. I am still trying to find mine!

I am excited, went to the used bookstore at lunch and got 9 books for $5. I LOVE the used bookstore.

Feeling a bit better this afternoon, but there is still time... hockey tonight which should be fun. Although they don't A/C the locker room and 101 all day, we will all be sweating buckets before we even hit the ice.

We found a great spicy fried chicken filet at Wally-World yesterday, only 240 cals, and cut it up over salad last night. Yumm.

Currently eating a really uninspiring salad w/ Kraft FF Balsamic... not too sure about this dressing. It is really low-cal but borderline on good. I have a cottage cheese and some strawberries left to go.

Sorry for the stream of consciousness post today...

We're at 92 and humid....which is SMOKIN' hot for Maine! NY is supposed to hit 105 today! :scared1:

I'M MARRIED!!!
CONGRAT!!!!! So happy for you both. Can't wait to see your pictues. :jumping1:

Please can I join you? I have one more week of school before summer vacation and I really want to focus on getting to a healthier place. I'm not ready to post how much I have to lose, but it's a lot more than I would like it to be.
HEY GLAD YOUR HERE!! They are the best group of gals. :)

I enter everything into sparkpeople and IT keeps track of it for me... I am in a couple of exercise challenges (running the one on sparkpeople, and part of the one on DIS), so it helps for that too.

It is HOT here too... 91 when I got out of my car at 9:45AM.

Sorry about the skirt. :(

STACEY! Congrats!! Time got away from me, I guess I didn't realize it was this soon.

Erika, hope your run went well. I totally agree about posting good AND bad.

Wow you are having a bad day. :( Hope it improves.

Whew....

The party went well, but man was it hot yesterday. Everyone had a great , so I think that is a good thing... Glad it went well, the food sounded great. Don't worry to much about the weight gain, there is always another day to get back on track.

Miss you all... Missed you back. :goodvibes

Happy Birthday Stephanie! Whoo-Hooo.

Thanks for the recipe. Sounds delicious. I'd walk a mile for a raspberry.
Don't forget I will be sending you some raspberry jam, then you won't have to walk to MN. :thumbsup2

Music. I love me some tunes. And you can never go wrong with Aerosmith, no? My 12 year old has a slight obsession with AS right now.

Poison. Yes, have a cd. But Brett Michaels, NOW. OMG. How embarrassing, right?

You are making me hungery.....::yes::

Yes, The one night that I did watch Rock of Love 2 I was like HUH? Meaningful relationships and true love with a bunch of playboy bunnies! NOT! My whole family watched it with me, we got a kick out of it. We even cheered when the little blonde started crying after not getting picked, she made such a scene.

NOPE, I am hoping mine doesn't find it's way back. :lmao:

My weekend was all graduration partys, I did not eat bad since I am so restricted, but I did not do one minute of excersie. :( I worked out really hard Friday and just lost my mojo for the whole weekend. I am going tonight with DD Hanna, it is so easy to just not go.

Have to get back to work, chat later. Jodi

OH I almost forgot HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY STEPHANIE...... I hope you did something fun.

I worked out really hard Friday and just lost my mojo for the whole weekend. I am going tonight with DD Hanna, it is so easy to just not go.

I think that's my new "life motto"....I just lost my mojo....guess I better find that again too! :goodvibes

Well, I made it to my weigh in and thanks to the weight loss gods and goddesses out there, I only gained 1-1/2 pounds after my week and a half food fest. While I am less than thrilled about the gain, I am over the moon that it wasn't the four pound gain I was expecting.

I talked to my consultant and we decided that I am going to start fresh tomorrow with my eating plan with the goal to stay on my Jenny food for the week with the only meal off of it for Father's Day. I picked out some of my yummy favorite foods to keep me inspired and bought a new "cookbook" that has recipies for altering the packaged foods so that it tastes different. I just got back from the grocery store and bought some fresh peaches, nectarines and cherries (the fresh fruit is finally starting to come in.... I so need a break from the jarred stuff....) and have fresh home grown lettuce for salads so I am phsyched about the week ahead. I am even off to get my four mile walk in tonight to get me going...

Thanks to you all for helping me through the last few weeks of weight gains and losses... To quote Dan (miss you) - I too am gaining momentum...

Talk to you all soon,
Goof

BTW - does one need to have mojo in order to lose it??? If so - what aisle do I find that in at the supermarket???? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
