DH says I am overplanning again and we do not need that much entertainment

The forecasters are speaking of more snow for us, too, Sarah!

Today I saw several homes with the gutters hanging on the ground, as the icicles got to be too much for them...


the wording the television is using is "snow hurricane" because of the high winds along with the flakes


that does not sound promising....

We already have 10 inches of snow. This storm is a 3 day one, which will last into tomorrow. We will probably end up with 18 inches by the time it's done.

So many trees have fallen, wind is blowing-I can't see out of my porch door windows-covered with snow.

Public schools are closed.

We are enveloped in snow again.
Two hour delay yesterday for my own children, I went on time.
IT didn't really start accumulating until after 2PM, just the wind....


We didn't have internet or phone service for a day
the internet part was making me crazy, i like to check in!

I couldn't get up our driveway yesterday, just parked at the bottom
DD11 slid down it, trying to walk up it.
No wonder the car couldn't make it, it was all ice.


I put calcium chloride on it and it was fine last night
today it is snow covered once again

DD13 had two girls sleep over last night
and DD11 had one...


DS said "too many girls!"
and hid out in his room



Today is softball tryouts
DH is coaching DD11's team, so he will be there awhile, seeing the recruits

DS has a new friend. girl, I might have mentioned already
she is on the swim team
though the swim season is now over except for championships this week

the girls team didn't make it
but DS is going

tomorrow all the boys that made the champs are shaving their heads
at a "good luck" party

I am already knee deep in snow, laundry and dishes
so I best get moving to do some chores

It's been so long since I last checked in!
I really miss talking to you all

Things are really busy here and time is just flying by!
Can you believe my birthday is next month

We went to see Shutter Island last weekend
and it was amazing! You should all go and see it!

It's little siblings weekend here right now
and things are pretty boring since there is no
intervisitation and most people went home.
We are going to see The Princess and The Frog
tonight which I am pretty excited about!

I love that in a movie, or book. Jodi Picoult always does that in her novels.

I love that I didn't even have to go to the dealership with him best of all!

We are taking name suggestions now.

How's the weather today? We actually had some sun and the snow has begun to melt a bit. Now the weather forecasters are talking about another storm coming for Tuesday night.

so, we dropped off our Project Linus blankets today , I took DS12 along with me & we were driving home (after a quick trip to Starbucks ), enjoying a lovely conversation & he says to me
"I can't keep up w/ you, you're just to random" thought my random friends would enjoy that!

ugh, we had patches of grass as of Thursday afternoon, as of today we have over 24 inches of new stuff on the ground
(stupid place of measurement -- only like 10 inches -- crazy airport!)

Today we made a trip to the mall specifically to exchange an outfit from Justice, and darn if the mall we went to DOESN'T have a Justice store! I hate the mall. Now I have to go to another one later for the exchange.

DD13 got new shoes so she was happy
but DD11 who needed the exchange was less than thrilled.
