Just finished with the big family birthday celebration for DD11. We have so much snow (at least 18 inches) but DH got it all cleared from the driveway and sidewalks and the main roads are clear.

My kids school has already cancelled for tomorrow, so the rural roads must not be too good! My school hasnt' even delayed, which is strange, as we are neighboring districts and use the same roads.....

My kids are outside sledding right now, thrilled that they can sleep in tomorrow... I don't know how they can even see anything, it is almost 9:30!

Not me!

I will catch all the good commercials tomorrow on a talk show....

Western PA interscholastic athletic league
competition for swimming (and other sports, too)

It has been so busy around here!
I can't even remember the last time I was on the DIS

We went to see Dear John on Friday
Devon and I had read the book
The movie was nothing like it!
They changed the ending and everything

We went skiing on Saturday!
I had never been so I took lessons
It was very enjoyable!
I think we may be going again in a few weeks!

Sunday we went to my house
for a superbowl party and to celebrate
Devon's boyfriend's birthday!

Hi Snow!
I am home on a snow day, they just called mine this morning
I knew my kids would be off today.

It is cold.
There are six girls and DS here

I am thinking AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH about airfare!

"teaser" fares like 79 each way turn into 104 with all the fees and such
NOT including baggage!


I want a super spectacular fare to pop up
right about now!

I can't find any cheaper than 190 roundtrip, which bumms me out!

we will make them as a family tonight!

Today is my third snow day this week.
TOmorrow is supposed to be a half day for students, adn teacher inservice in the afternoon AND the Valentine party in the morning.

We will probably go....they won't want us to miss inservice

Wow you had lots of snow days this week, was40!
We got a lot on Wednesday but not enough to close

Yesterday was Dev's birthday!
I decorated the room with Little Mermaid decorations
and I bought balloons, she was very surprised to see it when she got back
We went to eat at Applebee's and it was so great to eat non-school food

Dev's mom sent her a cookie cake for her birthday
but we were too full from dinner to eat it so we
are having a party tonight to celebrate the opening ceremony of the Olympics!
