Tomorrow DD11 gets to sing the National Anthem at the Pittsburgh Pirates game at Heinz Field!

(with her fifth grade chorus from school)

DH and DD14 are going to the game (it starts at 12:30)
DS wanted to go, but his tennis team is doing so well, he can't They won the section undefeated, and won the first playoff match, so they have another match against another section winner tomorrow.

How exciting!

It was sort of a blah day for baseball (and the Pirates did nothing spectacular today) (and they lost) but DD11 had the time of her life. DH seemed a bit cranky (was it the six dollar slice of pizza or the $7 dippin' dots that put him over the edge?) Baseball is 'spensive, baby!

Dug is saying 1,3,6 which is making me since it is Wednesday, and we lleave on a Friday (the six doesn't seem quite right)

but I have to concentrate on just counting down SCHOOL days for now
no need to get too excited too soon!

school wise:
we have a field trippie to attend a Reading Festival this week
an Author's Tea (fourth grade authors) next week
Game Day (also next week)
and a Field Trip still to fit in

Student last day is June 3

this is a picture of me and one of my students at our State Fair this week

This boy's name is Kyle, and I assigned him the state of Kyle, South Dakota. He and his dad took a road trip there over a long weekend, and visited the town of Kyle (as well as a lot of other spots in SD)

What a neat project.

I'm done with my freshmen year of college!
I am SO excited to have 3 months off from school! This semester was so crazy, I'm really looking forward to not having to do any projects for a little while!

We have a list going and it has gotten pretty long! Most of the things have something to do with food I know we are going to the city one day and the Museum of Natural History and Crumbs bakery are on the list, do you have any suggestions of things I shouldn't miss? Dev and I are also planning to get tattoos while I'm there, we'll see if that really happens or if I chicken out

Cash Cab is a big dream but Dev is so good at that show so if we were to end up in it I'm confident we would win big! I am really looking forward to my cupcake from Crumbs!

I'm not leaving school until tomorrow so I've been working on packing up all of my stuff! I don't remember having so much stuff when I moved in! I took a ton of clothes home on Sunday but there is still so much left. Thanfully Uncle George has a huge car so we should be able to fit everything.

We're going to Cedar Point next Friday I am especially excited because they have Sonic in Ohio!!! We see the commercials on the TV all the time but there aren't any in NY.

There is a great butterfly exhibit, at the museum, for an extra cost, that we went to years ago. You go into a climate controlled room with butterflies flying around you. There are so many museums nearby, you might want to visit a second one.

I'm really excited about Crumbs! I was looking at their website the other day and they look delicious!

I know that Dev mentioned the Central Park Zoo. I'm not really sure where everything is in relation to each other. I mentioned Dylan's Candy Store which she said we could go to and we are planning on the Museum. But other then that I'm not really sure. The World of Disney store is closed, right?
