In-N-Out Burger

In N Out ROCKS!! We used to live in SoCal and its the one thing we miss the most!!! Even more than Disneyland! :scared1: Did I say that out loud????

In N Out cannot be described with mere words. It must be experienced to be truly understood and appreciated. :cloud9:

In N Out can only be found on the west coast because it is not (and never will be) franchised. It is family-owned and operated. It also PRECEDES McDonalds too!!

In N Out is always our FIRST STOP in Vegas. We do not check into the hotel first, do not pass Go, do not collect $200! We go straight from the car rental place to In N Out to get our fix. Just a tip for those of you heading to Vegas, the In N Out on Sahara, across from Palace Station is MUCH less crowded than the one on Tropicana. :teacher:

We were just in Vegas this past weekend - HAD to go to In-N-Out Burger. Dipping fries in their "special sauce" (a/k/a souped-up Thousand Island dressing) - yummm

But the one on Tropicana is great for people watching! We went over there about 11pm Sunday night and it was amusing as heck! Drunk/stoned British guys trying to convince them to open one in London. Freaks, geeks, tourists, and then there were the bikers. :dance3:

They also have their own sub-menu. You can get your burger animal style (grilled onions, extra sauce), wish burger (no meat), grilled cheese, protein pack, 4x4 and probably many other ways I don't even know about.

The fries can also be ordered animal style which is the dressing, grilled onion and cheese on top. It costs more but well worth it! :thumbsup2

Now I'm dying for In-N-Out. I know what I'll be having for dinner tomorrow!

I didn't know about the animal-style fries! I'll have to try that. I usually jsut dump sauce on them.

The Ocean breeze, the constant 75 degree tempuratures, and In and Out Burger are the only things I miss about living in San Diego.

I love In and out, that's what a hamburger's all about. *I think that was their jingle years back* Last time I was in Cali we couldn't get to In and Out b/c it was packed.

One 4x4 Animal Style please. :thumbsup2

DH and I were talking on our recent trip to S CA. He said In and Out will never go any farther than it does because they buy all their beef from a certain ranch in California (maybe Harris Ranch, I'm not sure), and since it needs to be FRESH beef, not frozen, it can't be trucked too far. Made sense to me, but stinky for us Oregonians. So close, yet so far away.

There's plenty of beef cattle here in Texas! Come on In-N-Out I'm waiting. :teeth:

I ate at one in LA last summer when I was there for an internship I had. It was the best fast food I've ever eaten.

There are very few things I miss from my years in so cal. Lets see 1. Beach 2. in and out burger. Thats all. Keep thinking that they'll head to colo with all the transplants but no luck yet.

We LOVE  In-N-Out! We have some here in Mesa. We were gonna try to make it an only in California thing but, we couldn't resist and we eat there at least 3 times a month.

In-N-Out sounds really good right now. I'm going to have to go there tomorrow, Saturday at the very latest. ;) My dk will devour the burgers from there and they are usually picky about burgers (and they usually only get dressing and cheese only).

Why are they so great? I've heard about them for years and never had a chance to give them a shot. Are they like Steak n' Shake?

NOoooooooo, there nothing like Steak N' Shake, they are sooooo much better!!
