I hope you guys remember me. I used to hang around her a lot more, but I have been trying to cut back on my pin habbit a little bit. I got married last summer and we are saving for a house.
Anyway, every summer I direct a free summer theater project for local children. There is no cost for the kids to participate in this program. It is sponsored by local businesses. The idea is to introduce some kids to the fine arts who might not otherwise have had the opportunity to be involved.
This year, we are doing Alice In Wonderland! I am so excited! I always try to do something really special and fun for the kids and their parents the weekend before our play opens, to thank them for their hard work. This year, we are doing a Saturday afternoon "Mad Tea Party". We're going to have a lopsided pink cake, real tea cups and saucers (I've been buying these at swamp meets and yard sales), fancy little sandwhiches, silly games, etc.
I would love to have one of the "Mad Tea Party" pins for each of the kids in the group. You know, the one that shows the Mad Hatter and the March Hare riding in the tea cups? It says "Mad Tea Party" on it. I know that the kids would love these and they would really add a lot of our party.
So, I am looking to buy as many of these pins as I can find. There will probably be 25 kids in our play, so I need a lot of them! I already have one in my personal collection, so I will use that as well. Since I don't have any budget for this, I will be paying for all the party expenses (pins included) out of my own pocket. For that reason, I really need to find some low prices on them. If you have any of these pins and would be willing to let go of them for a low price, please let me know! I really don't have any traders anymore, or I would trade for them. Thanks!
Ginny
