Christmas in July celebration tonight in Wildwood Crest. Heading out to see decorated boats on the water soon.

I’m gonna start packing while my DH makes some breakfast (he makes great breakfast meals) and then I’m going to park myself in the pool for about 6 hours - I can hardly wait. I just downloaded a new book from the library, so I have new material to read while I‘m floating. Have any of you read The Kingdom Keepers books? The new book I got is the first one. The reviews online show that it’s just ok, but I’ve loved a lot of books that get reviews like that. I’m looking forward to seeing what I think of this book and if I want to read the other 6 books after this one is done.

We don’t have weekend membership, so I go swimming tomorrow.

I’m leaving in a few hours for the last tournament of this season (it’s about 3 hours away). Next season starts in a week, but since DD is having her knee surgery on 8/4, she won’t be playing in the first tournament, which will be Labor Day weekend - she will still go though and be with her team.

The weather for this tournament is going to be hot hot hot - heat index of over 100. They will be playing on turf which radiates so much heat and is awful to play on during hot days. I sure hope the girls have been hydrating.

I love GWL! We went a couple of times when DS was younger - took him and my nephew. In fact, wearing my T-shirt from there today.

PICK UP STICKS....my van is now in use by wife daughter, so sister coming to PICK-UP me for working with her jewelry this afternoon. Daughter has load of barkdust coming in. so had to PICK-UP debri in way of pile and then daughter laid down plastic. so had to PICK-UP possibl recluse inhabit building blocks t hold down plastic in case forcast winds PICK-UP. PICK -UP my feet to use upstairs shower and then did not want grass all over the house...had to PICK-UP MY WET FEET

lets see what i am juggling

* if i go to the post office to figure out how to make 2 27 cent stamps into 55 I loose my parking spot out front as daughter has clients.

* if i go to the very shaded forest of the monastery, there is no place for me to lay down on return, as the beauty shop is being used and our mattress is upright in the front door breezeway and the empty upstaris bedrooms are like 300 degrees.

* if start to write another letter to my pen pal and yuma folks, then i will forget to sip my drink because I never look up from the script

oh bother.....chew on more blue berries i guess these Heffalumps can put you in a corner of indecision

Thank you. If all goes as hoped the operation will a cure. We were happy to meet the surgeon, and are convinced Tom is in good hands. There are more tests, but hopefully Tom will have the operation by the end of August. We have plans to meet with each son during August.

that is the important part ...my VA dr in PDX says my Dr in yuma puts me in good hands, so I feel for you future down the healing path.
