3 weeks from now we will be on The Netherlands!! Looking forward to it, other than the flying. Not sure how my leg will do sitting for that long

Just not sure about sitting in an airplane that long.....bothers me even without a healing joint.
Long flight.....but looking forward to it (the trip, not the flight)

They really liked it. It was well done and themed well. They did the Robot one.
We liked this one (well besides the Disney influence) because your party was the only one in the room....you didn't have to do it with strangers. Minimum of 4 (at least price wise),
It was in a secret room behind an ice cream parlour and you had to give the secret word to enter.

I’m having a fantastic trip so far - our hotel is great, we’ve ate a few awesome local restaurants and the weather until now has been sunny & warm/hot. It’s raining today and the games are delayed with more rain coming. The complex charges $30 a day, so I hope that any day games that get canceled will be made up tonight after the rain stops - I’ll be annoyed if I pay $30 for nothing.

Spring break starts here today. The grand kids have a camp....I will pick them up M-TH and take them F.

Finished spring cleaning. Got to get Easter baskets done before we leave since we don't get back until midnight on the 6th. No school on the 7th and then the mad rush to get Easter food done.

I’m home and back to reality
I loved the area we were at - what a great place to live

Our trip was nothing but Ws the entire time - we got a free upgrade for our rental car, the hotel was outstanding, every restaurant was fantastic, the softball team had 8 wins and 2 losses, Kennedy Space Center was interesting, we saw 2 launches, we poked around WDW the day we arrived (DS) & the day we left (the resorts on the monorail circuit) and most of all we had great family time. This was such a wonderful trip - very memorable!

Now it’s time to start all the laundry

I did get the Easter baskets done....none for DIL this year. She is headed back to her parents' on the 28th for almost a month. We'll be gone for a big part of that, so DS will really have his hands full. DD will help a lot and pick the kids up from aftercare since it closes before DS gets off work.

We celebrated her birthday yesterday. It is really next Saturday but DD gave her an "experience" on that day. A murder mystery dinner (we love those!)

We had a great weekend DS & DDiL visited on Thursday, then DDiL went to Wildwood to stay with friends. DS helped with our outside garden work and was a huge help. Good food and experiences when DSis and her Honey joined us. Gus had lots of fun and people to walk him. I am just chilling out, lots of good memories!

We enjoy dinner mystery shows too!

I’m rethinking about us having dinner at the very coveted Rodeo Roundup BBQ in June - this will be the hottest ADR around. I have not tried to get a super popular ADR since my girls were little and getting into CRT was a must every year. Back then I would call Disney Dining at 6:00am (5:00am my time) to make my ADR. This year is my first time doing this through the app. I’ve heard from some that it opens up at 5:45am and from others I heard 6:00am. Do any of you know which is the true time? I have a feeling I’m not going to get this ADR, but who knows, maybe I’ll have a magical day

We just arrived in Santa Barbara a little over an hour ago. Friends wedding is Saturday. We have a few days for local sightseeing.

I’m super excited for Katie - her first conference games are today. They were supposed to be tomorrow, but due to yucky weather coming, they moved them to today, which means we don’t get to see them. They are live streaming them though, so I’ll be watching from work. Seems like yesterday that I signed her up for town ball at 7yrs old.

I know how you feel. DD started karate at 3 years old and went on win several national medals at Junior Olympics......and now she is 40!!
