Thunder here, Gus is anxious.

I love a good thunderstorm but they make my Sophie so upset. I put a thunder shirt on her and that helps a little. When a storm comes we open up the basement door so she can go hide downstairs.

We do not have a basement. Midnight was our first dog, she and I would sleep in the basement on stormy nights, and it worked.

As far as planning goes. Since DCL cancelled our NYC to Puerto Rico cruse, plus the next cruise which was PR to FL, I am hoping that means they just didn’t want to go to PR, and they will be cruising after that on Magic. Since in the cancellation email they talked about the simulation cruises the Disney Dream will be having, I have the notion that the Dream will be sailing in September. We are booking a September Cruise, a Halloween themed Cruise.

We shall see!

I’m excited to babysit my grandbaby today - I haven’t seen him for 2 weeks in person (many times on FaceTime). DD & family were out of town all last week. I’ve missed my baby cuddles.

I am doing well in my recovery from the rectocele repair on May 26, but I am finding thats it’s not a straight line road to recovery. I think my “over 70” body is doing its best. So, I am a little sad.

I am outside, on my porch watching the birds, lots of babies coming to eat with their Mama/Dads! A new one is a blue Jay who comes to get some seed and then flies off to where the est is.

Our fish pond water has cleared like it usually does and the waterfall is such a delight to listen to every morning.

DH is having a PET test right now, they are looking at some on his lung. Praying that it’s “nothing” like they think, but want to be sure.

Thank you! Tom and are both doing OK, and he hasn’t gotten a full report yet. They push back the appointment for that, so maybe it’s good, not a sign of immediate urgency. We hope!

I’m excited - today is the State Championship Game.
Such an awesome day for these girls and their families. Playing in this game is a dream everyone has, but most don’t get to do. It’s a special day!
