I remember when DD went to Junior Olympics......such a great accomplishment.

We are home. We’re at a celebration party, two hours a way. What a lovely day here for a party!

I finally got my grocery shopping done.

Had a good family lunch. DGD tried pork chops for the first time and said they were okay, but only ate 2 bites and then went for a turkey sandwich.

It did end up being 108 yesterday, today expected 113

I'm done with most of the Sunday chores,.....just need to finish up the laundry

We are gathering linens for one DS’s family who will be visiting us soon. The house we rented for them does not provide rentals. That’s the norm for rentals here.

I’m going to work today to relax after a very busy weekend.
DD‘s team lost on Saturday, which was unfortunate, but it ok - being 2nd best in the state is still pretty awesome. Once all the state games are done across the country, I will be curious to see what their final ranking is nationally. Great season.

We got home Saturday around midnight and Katie did around 12:30am, and then we were at the fields to kick off travel season at 8:30am. The girls have more games today, but I have to go to work. Its nice that Katie drives so I don’t have to worry about leaving work to take her. My parents are going to the game so she has someone to cheer for her. This weekends tournament is a college showcase. One college coach did talk to Katie yesterday and told her that he’s shocked she’s not recruited yet. She didn’t tell him that she’s waiting on an offer from her #1 pick college that we are hoping comes soon.

I'm watching TV. Kids stopped by on their way back from getting Frozen yogurt

I’m taking Katie today for her last high school physical this morning. We’re getting it done kinda early, but that’s ok, because now I won’t worry about forgetting about it and rushing to get it done in August.

I’m very proud of Katie and her travel team. After playing Saturday, Sunday & yesterday they won a national bid to play in Huntington Beach, CA which is the Super Bowl of travel softball.

I’m also very happy that we are a little closer to getting Katie committed to her #1 pick school. It will be a happy day once this gets finalize.

Always so much going on at our house.
