Funny, it appears that the people running her new site aren't too bright. It seems that they didn't bother to register similar domain names in an effort to prevent fake sites from stealing traffic. I saw a site that repeated some of Kate's recent tweets. It seems that she's warning her "peeps" that "kateplusmyeight" is an imposter site not run by her! That's e-commerce 101... you also should snap up domains that people looking for you are likely to mis-type in the address line.

I'm with you..I've seen some threads be nasty on the dis in the past, but there is definately something about Kate that brings out the worse in people. Maybe the thought that she has stuff they don't and they feel she doesn't deserve it? It certainly can no longer be that they want the kids off the air..it's gone way beyond that.

Whatever, I leave you to continue your hate (excuse me intense dislike LOL) bash without me. The kids are off the show, I don't care what show Kate gets, just hope she finds a way to continue to support them without even more major changes in their lives. Believe me I don't hate anyone on this thread (but if you want to think that, I can't stop you). I actually feel sorry for some of the people on this thread..hate can just take over your life.

A person can greatly dislike or even hate the behavior of another person without actually hating that person. I greatly dislike the way Kate behaves 95% of the time I see her on TV. I haven't watched the show regularly in a few years but I still catch it now and then to see the kids. They're the innocent victims in all this and part of me holds Kate and Jon in great distain for selling them out. Jon at least tried to pull the plug but Kate was too entrenched in the high life to ever consider doing that what was in the best interest of her kids.

Life is too short to hate on people like Kate Gosselin. I think the idea that anyone would be jealous of her is just ridiculous.

Of course it would. Both parents should contribute to the financial support of the kids, and if one has more custody time than the other, the other should pony up, based on income and time the kids spend with each parent. That's just how it works.

If he had them the majority of the time, sure she would be ordered to pay support, if they went to court.

Exactly and sorts bras have no padding and in fact flatten you because they are so supportive.

That isn't actually true. I have a few sports bras with padded inserts that make my girls look pretty darn good . Of course I don't for a minute believe Kate is relying on a bra to help her. She wanted them done when she had the tummy tuck so I'm sure as soon as she had the cash she made a beeline for the plastic surgeon.

Regarding Steve, I found that little story interesting too. According to Kate, TLC has been paying for Steve's "services" all this time. I'll be anxious to see how long their relationship lasts now that Kate has to pay him out of her own pocket. 24 hour security like that is not cheap.

Which makes perfect sense. It really does. If some random guy was grabbing my kids, I'd go all mama bear too. What makes zero sense is the fact that he has now changed his job to remain with her. Who is paying him now? She says they were provided with security, so I'm assuming TLC was paying his salary. Obviously, they aren't now if the show is canceled.

I'd rather like someone (although I wouldn't say intenesly, since I don't know her) than not. I have said there are things she has done that I haven't liked, and I am glad the kids aren't in a show. If you read back, I only defend what there isn't proof of (in my eyes). I defend that she and Steve weren't having an affair, because I've seen no proof. I defend that her 'girls' look the same to me, and I've seen no proof they aren't. I've seen no proof that she isn't involved more than what we see with her kids. I really see a show, an edited show, and as she said last night, the taping could be a couple days, and she could have yelled at her kids a short amount of that, and that's what they show. I couldn't live up at times to the group on this thread, and what they would have said, when I had my young children. Kate doesn't seem to have filters..she says what she says, even with camera's rolling. I think that is a big difference than on some of the other shows. Other shows seem to have more control over what can be shown.
So my short answer is, I don't intensely dislike anyone, but for me, it would be much harder and against my beliefs to intensly dislike, or hate someone based on the 'proof' shown. I'm much happier liking people or at least not disliking them, based on an edited tv show. Now, if someone could just explain filters to her, I think she would fare much better.

You are not alone. I've said before I never believed Kate and Steve were having an affair and have read similar posts from others stating the same thing in this thread. If there were some concrete proof like pictures of her leaving his personal home (like Deanna Hummel), than I would feel differently. Kate does seem to flirt with Steve, but I have never noticed any reciprocation on his part. That was a rumor Jon started, and everyone knows what is said about cheaters. They always accuse others of cheating whether it is true or not.

I do not hate Kate (or anyone for that matter). There are not any people I really dislike either. We have similar points of view on some things. You can defend her if you want. For me, I have always been more concerned with her kids and how they turn out rather than how anyone perceives Jon or Kate. Like I said before, they are both flawed (but have good qualities as well).

That said, I do not really want to defend her or attack her. Kate does need to reconnect with her kids though. They are only young for so long, and she has a chance to turn it around. For their sakes, I hope she does. I am glad the show is over (and feel guilty for watching, especially if the kids suffer from the effects of filming).

I agree. It should not matter who makes more money (male or female). The party that is not with the kids the majority of the time should pay something to support the kids he/she made. Jon probably does not mind either, since it is going to his kids. He is probably even happier to pay it now that the show is going off the air.

It's just tiring when there's something going on as clear as "the sky is blue" yet some people will sit there and go "well no, I don't think the sky is blue but if you insist it is it's only blue because the clouds made it that way!"

Kate has become an entitled, rude, all about me type of person. There's no way around it, and you can't blame her children, Jon, everyone else on the face of the planet.

ITA!!! I was flipping through the channels on Monday and caught the final episode. Its about time the gravy train came to a halt. Who in there right mind would enjoy watching this selfish, inconsiderate, talentless mother of eight children berate her family, staff, and anyone else she ever came in contact with. Maybe now her kids can enjoy some privacy and not be screamed at on national television.
Kate could care less about getting a job--she is going to miss all the free vacations and attention she received while TLC footed the bill. Its just too bad that all the babysitters, house cleaners, camera crew, grounds people, etc....signed those privacy agreements. They would of had best sellers. Guess we will have to wait for the kids to write about how their mother exploited their childhood for her own gain!

Wow, in all my years of wearing them and now my DD , I have never seen on with inserts like that. I mean some padding yeah, so certain things don't show through, but it still flattens me and DD to some extent. Not saying they aren't out there, but I just haven't seen them, and I guess we wear the same kind over and aver again, I mean once you find one that fits, crap on trying on other brands that is a workout in itself.

I really don't think Steve is going anywhere - at least, not for quite awhile. I think that the second the money flow starts slowing down, the kids will be yanked out of their private school (for their own good, of course) so that Kate can keep paying Steve's salary (and I am really, really fighting to keep from making a snarky comment here).

I don't care if the only time she ever screamed at her kids was the one time the camera was there and on. You don't ever speak to anyone like that! I wouldn't speak to my dog the way she spoke to Jon and now her "paid help". No way. She is obviously mentally unstable and I feel so bad for the kids.

I stopped watching after the second season. The kids were adorable, but her bad behavior made it impossible to enjoy the show. I tuned back in for the last couple of episodes and I see she is worse than ever.
I hope after the hoopla dies down, she and her kids can get the therapy they (undoubtedly) all need. That is one thing I believe TLC owes Kate and her family.

The show completely changed from how a family copes with 8 children to how a tv family gets freebies and gets things done with a staff, a crew and a couple of nannies. Enter the shrieking housewife/mom and divorce the dad...yeah...so not the show it was when it started. Not a good thing either.

Yes I do. I'm not sure what decade (or century) you're getting your info from. It's not about how much money a person earns, it's about contributing to raising the children you produced. The higher-earning parent may chose not to take it to court....but if they do, the other parent will be required to contribute.

I think many people like to make assumptions not based on facts. I do not think Kate was having an affair and John had even came out and said he is the one who screw up. I always think many people are quick to judge her but no one is in her position. I seen moms lose it and have a total break down with just 1/2 kids. I can not even imagine the stress and exhaustion she had to go through when the kids were younger and still it can't be a walk in the park. On top of that her house was always clean and somewhat organize (better than I seen of parents with just one kid, heck better than my house on finals week). I will totally be losing honestly I think Kate did a lot better than I would have. I am not a good person when I am over tired.
Funny thing I have a friend that has two kids and she always said that Kate treated John so badly (she never speak to anyone like that) even when she is super tired. Well lets say she was not so nice to her kids when she was overwhelm all I kept thinking is and if she had 6 more kids she would have run away , of course no one of us disers will ever do this because we all know we are perfect . So unless I have walk a mile in her shoes I can not say anything. She is just human and she does have flaws just like we all do.
I watched the final episode the kids said they were going to miss it. They were attached to the crew. Mady said she could never give enough thanks to the viewers because otherwise they would not have the opportunities they had.
