Can someone please tell me about the studios at BWV or WLV. I am very interesting in renting points as I think it may save us some money. Just wondering how nice these are compared to a regular deluxe room. There are 3 adults and one 9 year old. As of right now we have 8 nights September 15-23 at Yacht Club in a water view room and it is costing us $1,900 dollars for all 8 nights. Would love opinions. Please feel free to email me at beauty@cox-internet.com or pm me!

Thanks!

The studios are equal to or better to any WDW hotel room. You can look at the rooms at www.disneyvacationclub.com One main difference however is that instead of two beds you have a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa. (OKW has 2 queen beds). You also get the convenience of a kitchenette in the room and balconies (not sure about this for all VWL rooms).

You might want to see if there are good prices direct from Disney for this time period. Since you are including a Friday and 2 Saturdays in your stay you are talking quite a few points. 126 points for BWV or VWL or 105 points if someone could get the standard view at BWV. Most folks charge at least $10 per point to rent bringing you to roughly $1,260 for this route (there would be no tax). When you rent points, you do not get daily maid service as you would if you book directly through Disney.

hi: i think i replied to your post on the resorts board. i second what pam has just said.

I have stayed twice at the boardwalk villas and once at the Yacht Club. I loved both experiences. At the Yacht Club we stayed Concierge and that was awesome. The unlimited food and beverages really was wonderful. I would sugest if the prices are similar to trade the water view at the Yacht for concierge standard view.
If you decide on the Boardwalk, the Villas are terrific and allow you the many comforts of home such as a fridge and a small kitchen area. I stayed in the one bedroom once and this past April in a standard studio. Both were nice and accomodating to our family of 4. I think renting the points from a member saves you alot of money. Think of it as points are renting for 10-12$ a point and Disney prices are much more with taxes to boot. Hope I have been helpful. Either place is beautiful and you will have a great time! Take care and happy planning! Tammy and family
