I got the BEST LUCK at this class. I never ever expected this, but we drew MERIDA!!!!!!!!!!!

You did such a great job!! And I always feel like it's harder to do the human faces than it is the animated ones. I would love to do Merida someday - I did once do Rapunzel from Tangled at an Animation Academy class, which was really fun. They have so many different characters they can teach!

I have the same bag that the Mad Hatter/Queen of Hearts have. I got it 4 years ago while we were at WDW in October. It was one of those "spend X amount of dollars"....get the WDW Halloween bag. I absolutely LOVE it, and make sure it makes appearances for Halloween.

So glad I saw that picture, because I will pack it to bring with me in October when we head to MNSSHP!

Yeah, I work right near a hot topic in the mall so I go in all the time!! I have a few of the items but I think it's getting a bit overkill now haha. I really really want the Alice dress through. That is AMAZING.

Day 11, Part 5 In Which I Bid Farewell to the Best Halloween Party Ever

I made my way into Tomorrowland next!

I had to take another spin on the People Mover.

So I get off this ride after another flawless experience... and I'm walking around Tomorrowland... and suddenly I am approached by a man with two kids.

"Hi, can you direct us to the nearest restrooms?"

....

Honestly, I need to start entering Disney with a sign taped to my shirt that reads "I do not work here."

That was just so funny. It was such a common theme of #StuckInDisney12. It didn't happen that much during #BirthdayFestivus13, though I did get the princess thing a few times which I was not mad about. But seriously, #StuckInDisney12 was just freaky when it came to that! I mean someone literally addressing me like I worked there was just so odd because anyone in the park should be used to all the awesome uniforms the CMs wear... and I clearly didn't have one on... or a nametag...... Which is why it was just so weird.

Ah well. I wasn't complaining. I DID know where the nearest bathroom was, duh. I know everything about Disney. So I directed him over by Auntie Gravity's and headed on my merry way!

The party was like minutes away from starting, so I wanted to get on Space Mountain once before they cut the line off to non-party guests. I was able to make it on time and the line was super short again!

When I came out, I was able to catch a glimpse of the dance party over here... which is also hilarious but not as much as the Toy Story one.

I just love when the characters are in their futuristic/space gear.

HANDS UP, BABY HANDS UP.

Don't you wish you were that glowing guy? I know I do. His job is to like, stand there in between Goofy and Pluto, and just glow. In Tomorrowland. I can't imagine he has many complaints.

By now, the party had begun, and so I had to reluctantly pull myself out of Tomorrowland.

Ooooh, spooky castle.

I have to say... even though I technically didn't have a MNSSHP ticket and I was kinda being kicked out... I WAS at MNSSHP on Halloween for a little while. So my dream came true anyway It was wonderful, and I mean that in the literal sense. It was FULL OF WONDER. Really. I was so overjoyed.

I felt bad for the CMs though. I mean not REALLY because they get to wear those awesome MNSSHP costumes and stuff but still there were so many clueless guests who literally had no idea that they had to leave. Like some people don't even GLANCE at the park hours or Times Guide. And they're all, "Why do we have to leave but others get to stay?" And I'm like, "Learn to read." But the CMs are more polite and kindly explain the situation to the guests and then they're all annoyed. But some say that they want to buy tickets so that they can stay, which on a normal party night, is totally allowed. But when it's sold out, the CMs then have to tell them that's not possible and then they REALLY get mad. I just don't understand how you could not be aware of this as a guest! Like even if you did NO research prior to your trip which is moronic to begin with... there are signs everywhere, park times clearly listed, etc. Just... WAKE UP people! You're missing a whole world of informative signage here.

This is just what I gathered from my people watching/eavesdropping. Oh well.

I verrryyy slllooowlllly left the Magic Kingdom. Yeah, I'm that annoying person clogging up your MNSSHP. Deal with it.

It was just SO magically spooky. AND IT WAS HALLOWEEN. I did NOT want to leave!

It was the same as the other MNSSHPs though. So it's not like I missed anything special reserved for October 31 only. I just wanted to do yet another MNSSHP due to my addiction to it!

I am just SO in love with the Halloween lighting. BEST LIGHTING OF ALL TIME.

It was just so fantastic to take in Main Street on Halloween for my last MK moments of 2012. A perfect and very fitting end to my MK park going during this amazing trip!!

I REALLY wanted to go upstairs at the train station, take in the view one last time, and take some pictures, but I was afraid there'd be CMs blocking the stairs because once MNSSHP starts, there are CMs blocking the entrance to EVERYTHING, including each land, rides, stores, etc. And if you don't have a wristband, they start their "This is a private event" spiel.

I somehow got lucky and there were NO CMS NEAR THE STAIRS! Wooooo!! So of course I ran on up before someone caught me.

I mean, my camera isn't even good at this kind of night shot... but I had to get some pics anyway. I love just seeing the pumpkins glowing. Also I have to say that stores are starting to roll out all their Halloween merchandise and it is so hard for me to not buy E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. I work right near a Hallmark and oh forget about it, they have DISNEY HALLOWEEN stuff. I can not deal. I LOVE HALLOWEEN AND I LOVE DISNEY AND I HAD THE ULTIMATE HALLOWEEN DISNEY EXPERIENCE AND I FEEL SO LUCKY AND I WANT TO GO BACK OH MY GOD.

Whew.

I'm addicted. Shocking, I know.

Ahhhhhh the happiness.

TOO OVERWHELMING. I honestly wondered if any CMs were going to clear this area out because I kind of wanted to stay up there until Boo To You started so I could watch it! I'm sneaky. It was only about an hour until the first one at 8:30 and I was sure I could occupy myself just people watching and enjoying the spooky music and atmosphere until then. However, since it was my last night I really wanted to spend more time in Epcot, and technically I wasn't supposed to be in MK anymore anyway. So I said my goodbyes to the beautiful kingdom and headed to the monorail!

I just have to say though, it was so perfect that I got to experience a little bit of the party ON the actual holiday even though I couldn't stay. I was very very very happy and content with that. Especially because even if a ticket had suddenly become available or something, I would have missed out on more Epcot time... and trust me, I did NOT want that to happen! So the whole thing just worked out very magically. Luck sure was on my side in October of 2012, probably moreso than it ever has been before! AMAZING.

YAY!! another update. I'm really enjoying your TR. We are going the week after Easter 2014...I'm hoping since Easter is so late this year it won't be as crazy as it has in the past since a lot of schools have their Spring Break in March. Oh well, I really don't care because we will be at DISNEY!!!

Ugh! The lighting at the Halloween Party is the BEST! It just completely makes it feel like how Halloween was when you were a kid! Spooky-ish and so much fun, but not really scarey! I love it.

I thought you might like this story- So my darling little munchkin decided last night that he wants to be Jack Skellington for Halloween. This in itself is just awesome.
The problem? They don't make Jake Skellington costumes for 4 year olds! Apparently most 4 year olds aren't obsessed with a spooky movie that came out 20 years ago. Mine? Of course he is!
He actually asked if he could be Zero and his Daddy could be Jack at first but then changed his mind that he would be Jack and just bring his stuffed Zero with him. Gotta love that boy!

Hmmm, you know Lia, since it was Halloween season, I wonder if maybe all those guests who kept calling you a CM were actually "ghosts of Halloween future" basically saying that if you ever choose to become a CM, it's pretty much a done deal.

Well, since you crossed over into MNSSHP time, I'd say you were officially a 4 time party goer, which is, you know, AWESOME!

And hey, if your have to leave MK, leaving under that lighting is pretty darn cool.
