I'm staying on WDW property!!!!

For our weekend trip in October, we are staying on Disney Property! (FOR THE FIRST TIME!) I just made the reservation for 3 nights (only 3 ) at The Port Orleans French Quarter! No kitchenette or extra bedroom like we're used to, but I am SO excited!!! Woo-hoo!!!!

Next you should try DVC!! Full kitchen, full living room, full laundry room, King sized bed in master suite, and a master suite Jacuzzi tub!! The ONLY way to fly!! We did DVC because we found we were spending too much to stay on site all the time. This way we stay on site every time, but for the price of about 3 on-site trips. We have been members since 1997 and have stayed in studio, 1,2, and 3 bedroom units at different times, and all are spectacular. Have a great trip!!!

I would love to! And I actually priced it, but it was a $500 difference for 3 nights! I will one day though!

You know, everyone says to request building 5, but we were in building 7 which on the map looks like the furthest from everything. ACTUALLY the resort is so small we were close to EVEYTHING!!! We also liked that there was very little traffic around our building (people traffic I mean).

Housekeeping was the best here!!! (I make NO gaurentees of course but...) Our daughters dtuffed animals were set in the window every day whenwe came back to the room. She got lots of towel animals, and on our last day housekepping left her 2 gold mylar ballons!!!

Truely magical time we had!!!!

Sorry I can't be more help on the room. I'm sure others will have better recom. but I think you'll be happy with any room!

Not sure what you meant by DVC still $500 difference for 3 nights. I was thinking DVC purchase. We found we were spending about $3000-5000 per on site trip, and would have paid for a minimum DVC sale after about 3 trips. Now we have been members for 5 years and have stayed so many times for basically our paid back initial purchase plus maintanance fees. We even spent 2 weeks at OKW this year PLUS a week in Hawaii on our DVC membership! I think I can't afford NOT to be a memeber!
