So unnecessary, Tax Guy.
Seriously? So there's no joking on this site?

Jokes sure! Politics are not allowed. In fact, you may want to edit your post before a mod sees it and you wind up with points. Just an FYI. Upon further inspection, You appear to be new, so maybe you are unaware of the board rules: http://www.wdwinfo.com/guidelines.htm
Thanks, although a little too late.
I'm not sure what or why I would need to edit though...I don't see anything wrong with my reply?

I am amazed and grateful for the phenomenal success of the Ice Bucket Challenge.
I'm also part of the sad fraternity of DISers whose families have experienced ALS. My mother died three years ago. Since she was not the first person in her extended family to have ALS, she likely was among the 5-10% of people who have "familial" ALS. That means my sons and I are at a significantly higher risk than the general population.

Former President George W Bush did the Ice Bucket Challenge and challenged Former President Bill Clinton which I think is cool. If you have a chance to watch it, his video is cute, with Laura Bush saying WHY she is not doing the challenge![]()
.
Holy cow!
$31.5 million dollars raised! Compared to 1.9 million in the same time period last year.
Over 600,000 NEW donors to ASLA.

Can you imagine what the staff at ASLA is thinking these days? I imagine some of it is "holy crap, now what do we do!??!" I'm sure they had a budget and activities and a strategic plan mapped out for the next year or so that assumed they'd have a few million dollars to work with, not tens of millions. As the CEO said, hopefully we will look back at this and see that it was a game changing moment for ALS.
It's pretty awesome to be a teeny-tiny-small part of something positive like this.
No, it isn't a stretch. See article.

I agree there are ways to do it without waste. I have not seen a majority do so.
Probably already caught, but this article is Satire.
