Yesterday at the Disney store, the girls insisted Lotso come home with us.

hey thanks! the movie filming got a bit hairy at moments...kids don't quite get quiet on the set but it was a good night...Nathan is not a big fan of the Toy Story Wii game which is a bummer so we decided on making the movie instead...and hey now I know Naomi can wear the Jessie costume for halloween...sweet no $ involved and you saw her new little pink cowgirl boots. Now all 3 girls will have worn that

Instead, we're doing the entire stay at BLT in a 1 br LV. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a 1 br LV for the last night, so we're switching to a MK view studio.

Hey, Jennifer! I just saw you are down to 7 days -- woo hoo!!! You will absolutely love BLT...the only complaint I've heard is the sink set-up in the studios, but that's a minor point when you are ON VACATION @ DISNEY!!!!

Disney<333! When I joined, I had my teenager with me and she told me that would be a "cute" username. I thought it was just to sign in.

2) How many times have you been to WDW (and other Disney vacations spots if applicable)?
12 years in Orlando and 11 WDW vacations.

3) What onsite or offsite properties have you stayed at? Do you have a favorite?
Dolphin, Swan, BC, BW, WL, CR, CSR, POFQ, Double Tree, and Hilton. I love all except the DT and Hilton.

4) What one resort would you love to stay at?
Poly or GF!

5) What now gone ride/attraction/show do you wish they’d bring back?
Stars and Motor Cars Parade. The show where TSM is now.

6) What is your Dis-style? i.e. just like the Trip report boards, dining, crafting, etc…how often do you Dis and where…
PTR/TRs!
A few minutes where ever I have some down time.
7) (idea from another thread) What would you have never done if it wasn’t for the Dis?
A lot! The way Disney trips were before the DIS?! Yikes!
I have to say the DIS has gotten me very into photography.

I do like those Mickey bars! Hmm.. do I really have to give it away! I have a bunch!
Shark's mouth, park symbols, with characters, etc.

9) Tell about your most treasured memory at WDW to date.
DD cracking her toe open was interesting.. not my favorite, though. One time when we lived in Orlando we were with MIL waiting for a Cape May ADR Emily was 3 at the time. My MIL was in the gift shop with her and DH and I were a few feet away. Emily comes running out with this giant Minnie doll to show us! For some reason the alarm did not go off. MIL said she could keep it! I told her to out it back. Again, not my favorite. I really LOVED our July 2005 trip. The night before Thanksgiving last year MK was EMPTY! We had the entire park to ourselves and it was really magical. Then once the park closed there was a surprise Spectro!


10) Do you TGM or touring-plan and/or what other Disney sites do you live by?
I don't have either. I do check the Disney parks blog and sometimes WDWMAGIC.com


11) What one character best describes you (doesn’t have to be your favorite)?
Maybe Mickey?

13) If you could only spend 1 hour somewhere in the World, where and what would you do?
IASW and Haunted Mansion! Funny that you mention that because the other night I had the strangest dream. We had just finished dinner somewhere nd we saw fireworks going off. I had no idea we were in WDW! Apparently, we were right by some MK back gate and Donald saw us and took us in and told us to pick two things since the park had closed! We chose HM and IASW!


14) If someone looked in your Touring Bag, what would they find?
My family's crap that they never use in the park.

15) Beyond the Dis….what do you do in the real world?
Drive kids around to their activities and teach Art!



16) What trips do you have planned or are dreaming of?
November, March, August, November in WDW!


17) What one thing do you always do when you’re at WDW (besides rides)?
Hmm.. we always do at least one ADR and we can not leave WDW until the monorail has been ridden.


18) Are you looking forward to the new FL expansion and if yes…what specifically?
I'm patiently awaiting to hear the changes.


19) Is there a ride or food, etc that you have never gone on or tried?
I've never been to Goofy's!

20) Do you have any special family traditions at WDW?
Watch Wishes from a special spot, taking each girl around by themselves for a while, Disney is a tradition with in it's self.

DisMomAmy – Because I’m a DisMom, named Amy.


2) How many times have you been to WDW (and other Disney vacations spots if applicable)?
10 times!! 3 times as a kid, once with DH before kids, once when DS9 was a baby & 4 family trips in 2006, 2007, 2009 & 2010. Also a trip with my mom in 2008.

3) What onsite or offsite properties have you stayed at? Do you have a favorite?
I’ve camped & stayed at a value, moderate & have an upcoming deluxe trip! Onsite at Fort Wilderness Campground as a kid, another unknown onsite resort with my friend’s family in high school, Pop with my mom in 2008, CBR with my family in 2007. Staying at BWI with my friend next month.
Off-site – Favorite – Sheraton Vistana Resort, close second – Marriott Grande Vista. Stayed at a few other so-so off-site places.

4) What one resort would you love to stay at?
Beach Club or Animal Kingdom Lodge Savannah View – I think the boys would love both!

5) What now gone ride/attraction/show do you wish they’d bring back?
Hmmm… I can’t think of any good ones right now… I remember 20,000 leagues under the sea, but I remember that it freaked me out too!

6) What is your Dis-style? i.e. just like the Trip report boards, dining, crafting, etc…how often do you Dis and where…
I mostly hang out on the PTR/TR boards, but pop onto the Disabilities board from time to time. I’ve also been checking out the resorts boards for my upcoming fall trip & the dining boards waiting for info on the opening of Via Napoli.

Lots of things, but the biggest two are that I probably never would have stayed on-site or purchased an AP.

8) Name your favorite snack, insider trick, resting spot, special piece of MAGIC ( i.e. Singing in the Rain Umbrella type thing), and picture spot at WDW.
Not sure I have a favorite snack… Disney popcorn is a must at least once or twice during each trip. Alex loves the Itzakadoozi (sp?) popsicles.
For us, the GAC is a little piece of magic! We wouldn’t come back year after year if we couldn’t have the normal family vacation that it helps to provide.


9) Tell about your most treasured memory at WDW to date.
I seem to have a picture of the boys walking hand-in-hand from every trip.


10) Do you TGM or touring-plan and/or what other Disney sites do you live by?
Tour Guide Mike baby!! Actually I subscribe to both, but follow TGM more.


11) What one character best describes you (doesn’t have to be your favorite)?
Hmmm… I look a little like Snow White.

12) Do you have a favorite Dis-ism?

Anything with initials!


13) If you could only spend 1 hour somewhere in the World, where and what would you do?

That’s a tough one… too hard!

With or without kids? With kids… everything but the kitchen sink!
Without kids… iPhone, sunglasses, blistex, altoids, band-aids, small zip wallet, sunscreen, maybe a poncho?


15) Beyond the Dis….what do you do in the real world?

Part-time bookkeeping, lots of volunteering (lots of PTO stuff, class parent for at least one of the boys’ classes, board member of our local Early Intervention services agency), taxi service for the boys.


16) What trips do you have planned or are dreaming of?

Three in the works – 9/30 3 nights with Laura, 2/24 10 nights for our next Family Trip and a mystery trip to be revealed soon!
Dreaming of two trips in 2012 – family trip & trip with you!


17) What one thing do you always do when you’re at WDW (besides rides)?
I’m not sure we have an always outside of rides…


18) Are you looking forward to the new FL expansion and if yes…what specifically?
Not particularly… it sounds very princess heavy which won’t appeal to my boys. Though I’ve recently heard they are trying to change that princess heavy image… we’ll see. I’ll definitely check it out.

19) Is there a ride or food, etc that you have never gone on or tried?
Food? Lots… Dole Whip! Epcot slushie! Mickey ice cream bar!
Ride? TTA! WDW RR! Figment… at least it’s been so long that I don’t think he was part of the ride when I last rode it. Plan to knock all three of these off my list within the next year!

20) Do you have any special family traditions at WDW?
Sadly, I don’t think we do…
