1) What is your Dis name and why did you pick it?

MouseScrapper because I LOVE to scrapbook and the Mouse...well he is the man....though I wish I had added a space or capped my S in scrapper...because last yr someone noticed my LGMH in the park and asked what does mouse crapper mean.... oh man I almost died of embarsement...glad Heidi and Kathy nicknamed me Scrappie too

2) How many times have you been to WDW (and other Disney vacations spots if applicable)?

7 times to WDW and once to DL as a pre-teen. One of those 7 trips was a child in the 80's and the rest have been w/ Matt, 3 before kids and 3 after.

3) What onsite or offsite properties have you stayed at? Do you have a favorite?

only off-site was in the 80's at maybe a Days Inn?? onsite: CBR (twice), As Sports, POR, Poly, CSR My favorite of those would have to be POR...loved the bathroom and little trundle for Rachel (then 2 1/2) and the boat rides to DTD...but POLY was just unblelievable...got to love deluxe

4) What one resort would you love to stay at?

more DVC...now that I'm a member...can't wait for 1st stay at BLT in Nov. Want to stay at BWV next yr

5) What now gone ride/attraction/show do you wish they’d bring back?

DH hands down would say Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...I personally miss the Tidal ave...oh wait that was Great America....

6) What is your Dis-style? i.e. just like the Trip report boards, dining, crafting, etc…how often do you Dis and where…

My first post was on the Families Boards...but I mostly sub into PTR/TR's and dibble on the various other ones (dining, resorts, DVC, tips, strategies) as I'm looking for questions or answers...I also visited the Creativity Scrapbooking a bunch and check in on the disABILITIES board when I can

7) (idea from another thread) What would you have never done if it wasn’t for the Dis?

my sweet corny answer is have met soe many awesome and wonderful new friends....really and pack in ziplock bags, bring a show organizer down for the bathroom, have a trip binder (and take pictures of it )...go to WDW w/out my family...upcoming 1-20-11 and I know more...

8) Name your favorite snack, insider trick, resting spot, special piece of MAGIC ( i.e. Singing in the Rain Umbrella type thing), and picture spot at WDW.

wow I have so many...from characters, unexpecteted surprises and more...but one that I have that could never be duplicated would be in 2005, we had hoped the twins could get a chance to ride in the front of the monorail during their b-day trip...we had just a few chances...and one day a nice young adult couple let the twins take their spot and they got special monorail licenses too...I know it's something they will never forget!

10) Do you TGM or touring-plan and/or what other Disney sites do you live by?

I have done both...but currently have a sub to touringplans...I like having that guide to plan out the days...I also look at AllEars and Steve Soares entertainment sites alot for my info in planning trips...plus I love the Disney Food blog


11) What one character best describes you (doesn’t have to be your favorite)?

Stitch I can be a bit cranky but I'm all about family

12) Do you have a favorite Dis-ism?

I still laugh at this...endoftripitis

It would have to be at MK...walk down main street, grab a snack from MSB head over to IASW and then POC finish w/ watching Spectro

my cell, kleenex, trip notes (for TR writing), a pen, camera, lipstick, gloss and chapstick (yes I'm obsesive), hand gel, asthma inhalor, everyone's KTTW, GAC card, touring plan cards and probably a few other misc things


15) Beyond the Dis….what do you do in the real world?

I am a SAHM, volunteer at our church and children's school's


16) What trips do you have planned or are dreaming of?

the trip in progress now, a 15 yr anniversary trip for DH and I to WDW in Oct. 2011, hopeful family trip to DC in summer of 2012, and next family trip back to WDW sometime in 2013...plus a special trip in Jan 2011



17) What one thing do you always do when you’re at WDW (besides rides)?

shopping...I always buy a new photo frame, kids pin trade and pennie press pkus we always stop for autographs

18) Are you looking forward to the new FL expansion and if yes…what specifically?

Yes I am...new dining, Fairies and really curious about the two Dumbo's

19) Is there a ride or food, etc that you have never gone on or tried?

food Dole Whip and many WS TS places...ride Astro Blaster in MK and MS in Epcot (plus a few others)

20) Do you have any special family traditions at WDW?

pictures...like you had to guess that...I have at least 8 pictures we must always take 1 for each of the kids, 1 of DH and I and one of the kids together...

well mateys 20 dreadful days at sea have come to pass and we may be getting a bit closer to that TREASURE....now where's my map?

Avast! some scurvy dogs stole it...a battle will commence!

in the end the Pirates took over and captured the loot from the high walled Fort...and the Pirate-y children had to go to jail (or the showers )

So today marked another Family Fun day as we count down till November and our next WDW Adventure.... This was one of the first days we came up w/ and was all Matt's idea...we tweaked it a bit due to time, weather, and some illness..but after converting some really huge cardboard boxes into a Fort and Ship....

(good thing we have such a big basement)

I have an excuse for what's taking me so long on your quiz, really I do!! Let's see......all the emails flying about for the Jan trip, the PTR for said trip, back to school craziness and extra hours at work. I did squeeze in a little laundry too.

irishdancer – was already using it on the ‘net’. I’ve been an Irish dancer since I was 7 and then a teacher for 17yrs with my own school. Not involved now but I’m not changing it, lol!

2) How many times have you been to WDW (and other Disney vacations spots if applicable)?
WDW – 20 trips since childhood (most after marriage & kids)
DLR – 2 trips 2001 & 2006

3) What onsite or offsite properties have you stayed at? Do you have a favorite?
Off-site – Buena Vista Suites, Nick Hotel (when it was a Holiday Inn), Comfort Suites, Days Inn as a kid
On-site – Poly, WL, AKL, CSR, POR, POFQ, BCV, OKW, SSR, THV, AKV, HHI
Favorite – AKV and Poly

4) What one resort would you love to stay at?
Contemporary and GF

5) What now gone ride/attraction/show do you wish they’d bring back?
Original Tiki Room and Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride

A lot, lol. Theme Parks, Budget, DISability, DVC, TR, Community and occasionally Restaurants, Resorts and Transportation. Dis at home whenever I can squeeze in time.

Hmm, not sure.

In retrospect our June 09 trip, MIL/FIL joined us and FIL passed away very unexpectedly 4mos later so I’m glad we got to spend the time there with them making memories.

11) What one character best describes you (doesn’t have to be your favorite)?
DH says I’m most like Perdita from 101 Dalmations (the mother hen type)

Tough but I guess MK at night to include Wishes.
